I met Barb Lopez at Bethesda National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) in September of 2006. My son was on the same floor as Barb's son, Joe. I related totally to the NNMC experiences and people which Barb relayed as my family had many of the same encounters. I am so proud of Barb and Joe for writing this book.
