I totally enjoyed this book! The fact that it's in chronological order was perfect, b/c it took me through interviews/events I was familiar with, & some I wasn't, so I appreciated that; and of course, side comments by Roland that I found amusing.
I read the only review on the book, & I want to say, shame on Amazon for allowing a post by a person that did not read the book.
I would recommend it, b/c it gave me history on one, if not the best campaign ever! I can have my granddaughter read it when she grows up, as she recognized then Sen Barack Obama during the campaign.
And oh! Mr. Martin, I hope you write Part II on the upcoming elections -2012.
Then again, when Michelle Obama runs for the Presidency.
I'm not worried about the naysayers: "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still"

After seeing Martin on CNN, I doubt that he would have anything intelligent to say in a book. Judging from the cover, it appears that the only larger than Martin's waistline is his ego.
