Ever heard Eddie Daniels play with Gary Burton? "Benny rides again". Fast/faster/fastest numbers of great solo-playing together and "Memories of you" and "Goodbye" as slow heartbeatings. No wonder Eddie won First Prize in 1966 in Vienna's International Jazz Competition, plus a MA from Julliard School. What else is there to be said about this great clarinetist. That's why I pick his very first CD - First Prize and will enjoy it inmensely!
