3.0 out of 5 stars Too Long
Item took too long to receive, this is one downside to Amazon.com, it takes forever to receive your order. Other online stores are much faster.

I've always enjoyed woodworking, so it seemed only natural to give wood carving a shot. This book definitely helped me to get started and has a good section on sharpening your knives. There are a handful of typos and a few captions that don't match the pictures, but that's ok. I would like to have seen a few more projects, but I'm sure the authors did not want to overwhelm the beginner carver. All in all, I would recommend this book to others.
