I've been wearing diapers now for several years. I've tried many brands, and styles. I find these to be a great mix of comfort, reliability, and value. I was kind of worried about the full matte design; thinking they would be too hot, and bulky. I was very surprised at how wrong I was... They are surprisingly cooler than depend max protection, Tranquility ATN's, and even some of the cloth backed diapers I have tried.

The full matte design is nice for too reasons; it keeps most of the plastic away from your skin, and also prevent's the outline of the padding from being visible under your clothing. Most diapers have a transition from the padding to the plastic, and an outline that can be seen under your clothing. Since the padding on these goes all the way to the sides, there is no outline.

I have yet to have these leak on me even after several wettings throughout the night. Most diapers won't hold up to that; not even many of the expensive ones. The worst I have had is a little bit of transfer where the padding meets the edge of the diaper. This has only happened a few times, and only at night. I simply use a pair of plastic pants (Sani-Pants) at night to prevent this.

The tapes are very strong, and rarely come loose during the day. I roll around a lot at night which can work the tapes loose. The plastic pants prevent this as well. The tapes are always an issue for me, and have been on every diaper I've tried. I have to say these have the best tapes I've seen.

The plastic is very soft, and smooth. It's actually very pleasant in my opinion. Since they're so soft and flexible; they're also very quiet under clothing (almost like they aren't even there). I have tried some cloth backed diapers as well, but these are still quieter.

I have a subscription for this product that saves me money.
My 21 year old daughter with cerebral palsy goes through 3 or 4 of these a day.
They say on all night (she doesn't move much).
Her skin is dry and she is happy.

A wide surface of absorbent material which is much better than others. XL fits my husband who is approx. 215lbs with enough but not too much overlap. You can reapply the adhesive strips if need be, not like many others where once the tape is stuck that is it. Strongly recommend trying these flat fold briefs. This is my choice from here on out for the quality/value .

I remember using these as a child because I was born with spina bifida and these were the only brand that could really hold my accidents well. They were well absorbent and worth the money. I may just keep ordering these monthly because you can't find them anywhere around here. One piece of advise don't pull too hard because you may rip the tabs off the plastic.

This diaper is AMAZING. It's getting harder and harder to find diapers with the plastic backing. These have it. The so-called "breathable" diapers should be called (I think), "ineffective" or at least "less-effective" diapers. The plastic backed ones (like the one's I'm reviewing) hold in more moisture. This is good for several reasons, depending on your motive for purchasing the diapers. If you are purchasing them for incontinence, note that they will hold in more moisture than diapers that are even more pricey. They do make a crinkling sound, however, as will most plastic backed (or "full-matte") diapers. If you are trying to conceal the diaper, this is a negative. If you are an ABDL, then this is a good thing! ABDLs will likely be familiar with "Bambino" diapers. Well... bambinos are great but they are expensive. If you are an ABDL that wears 24/7, you will likely go through a lot of diapers. "First Quality Total Care IB Adult Brief" are a wonderfully-priced diaper for day-to-day use that do their job remarkably well (better than diapers that cost more), and they will not put too hefty of a dent in your pocket-book! I can't recommend these highly enough!

I have a bed-ridden father and these diapers are wonderful especially for the price. They are very absorbent and the outer plastic liner has helped to cut my laundry chores in half. Best of all the diapers are large enough to allow for quite a bit of alignment error when doing "the log roll" to get your bed fast patient into new set.

As the years go by, I have noticed the boxes get smaller and smaller. Less absorbent material, smaller diapers. It's still the best deal going but the price has gone up over 10 years and the quality has dropped.

Based on previous experience I knew to order XL even though my waist measurement is much smaller than what they state. Given that you realize you must buy a size larger they will be comfortable. The brief is absorbent but because of the plastic sides they will make your hips sweat. If you have to open the brief more than a few times the tabs will no longer stick.
