Globe rocks, baby!, September 9, 2000

I got my first globe CD when my step-father visited Japan, and I've been hooked ever since. Even though sweet heart is my favorite of their songs, DEPARTURES and Anytime smokin' cigarette are also some of the best. DEPARTURES is kind of a pop-y/dance song with a great beat, and even if you don't understand japanese (like me) there are lots of parts that are in very understandable english as well, and plus, the song's so kewl, you don't need to understand japanese to like it!) Anytime smokin' cigarette is less pop sounding, and more rock-like. globe covers a broad range of musical styles, and does each of them excellently. Buy this CD! You won't regret it. Then, pick up globe 1995-2000 for more sampling of globe hits.
