5.0 out of 5 stars First Responders Guide to Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)
This book is excellent reference material. Combined with The Jane's Chem-Bio Hanndbook, Medical Management of Chemical Casualties Handbook, and PDR Guide to Biological and Chemical Warefare Response and you have a formidable library for Chemical WMD Defense. I highly recommend these manuals to first responders for training and preoperational checks.

2.0 out of 5 stars Nothing New Here
Mostly revisited material which you can find elsewhere. The way the book was put together is helpful, and for the novice it might be somehwat helpful.

Since the dawn of time, mankind has been menaced by deadly chemical and biological weapons. This book provides useful information that fits in your pocket (and it makes a great stocking stuffer.) It is simple and easy to understand yet organized and practical. I would have included more information on what to do while sheltering in place (like games for the kids and a bottle of scotch for dad.)

Great information for protecting my family from weapons of mass destruction. Good coverage of the subject. I would recommend it to everyone, not just first responders like the police and fire department.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than Duct Tape and Plastic, February 14, 2003

Excellent reference. I now see that there's more to protection against chemical and biological agents than duct tape and plastic over the windows.

This is an excellent reference! I bought two copies - one to keep in my car, and one for my wife to keep in her car.
