The first month of trying to get pregnant I used a more expensive clear blue digital test which didn't work properly as I kept getting errors of all sorts. I then got a cheap drug store brand which apparently didn't work either. I immediately ordered this for my next cycle, it was simple and easy to use. After my first try with it, I'm now 8 weeks pregnant. So what can I say, it works.

My husband and I have been off of birth control for almost a year now. I have had pretty irregular cycles since going off of the pill. I had tried the OPK with the little smiley face and never did get a positive result. I may have started using it too early, which is obviously a user error, but I felt that with the first response brand I was able to compare the lines instead of a smiley doing the work for me. After temping for a few months I was more easily able to figure out when to use the OPK and finally got a positive test. The lines for me were easy to distinguish (and I was very happy to get any kind of positive result). Buying the tests on Amazon was more cost effective than at the drugstore and I did receive them in a timely manner. The only thing that I am not able to add to this review is whether or not they worked. I am still waiting to find out. So if you read this review, please keep your fingers crossed for me.

I found that the lines were hard to read. It was hard to determine if one line was lighter than the other one. Each time i used them the lines looked the same. The price was really good and it came with a free pregnancy test.

If you're using these tests, especially before having IUI or IVF, you're at the point where a clear response is exactly what you want. The nerve-wracking experience of interpreting the subtle differences in the colors of the lines is something I could've done without. This morning, I thought had a positive result, but wasn't 100% sure, since the test is so subtle. Thankfully, I had one remaining Clear Blue digital test on hand and was able to verify the result. Spring the few extra bucks for clarity. It's worth it!

These test corresponds with when my calender states I will be ovulating. Much cheaper to buy here on Amazon than at any retailer in town. Product shipped quickly and nicely from the seller. If I were pregnant yet I'd give the product 5 stars :-)

These tests completely dont work. If you have never used ovulation tests before you may think they do because you will get a lot of random positives but if you have used other brands you will find out just how inaccurate these are. I have used 4 boxes total and the results are completely inaccurate. One day will be positive, one day negative, one day positive and so forth. It doesnt matter when in my cycle I use them. Well this cycle I took the first response ovulation test along with the clear blue easy digital and a generic test strip ovulation test and the first response test was very negative but the digital ovulation test and the test strip were both positive. So the First Response ovulation tests will basically tell you nothing dont waste your money and be misled about when your LH surge is.

I read on other websites that people think its hard to read, but I didn't think it was to confusing. It was able to detect a "surge" and..well thats what it was suppose to do. I gave it 4 stars because I wont know for a little longer if we are pregnant but if i am...its def. a 5 star product!

After using this test, I suggest getting testers that show the results in words. This test uses shades of pink. I don't understand why it uses shades of the same color but it's confusing and difficult to be certain that the test is being read correctly. It requires you to carefully match up the test with the instructions and make a determination whether one of the lines is a similar or darker shade of pink than the other line. This becomes annoying when you're testing for several days.

When we decided to try to conceive, we tried without a kit the first month and failed. We used this kit the second month and succeeded! Very easy to use and obviously very accurate! I highly, highly recommend it! The little girl we are having next month is proof positive that it works!

I liked the idea of not having to read the lines to figure out if I was about to ovulate so I tried Clearblue Easy Digital Ovulation Test, 20 Count (Packaging May Vary). It's suppose to give you a smiley face if a LH surge is detected and circle if not. Even though I used it product as directed for two months, I never got a smiley face so I decided to purchase First Response Easy-Read One-Step Ovulation Predictor Test, 7-Test Kit. Using the same urine sample, First Response gave me indication that I had a LH surge while Clear Blue still gave me a circle.

If Clear Blue is not working for you, I would suggest trying First Response.

With First Response, it does require reading the lines but it was not difficult to figure out. After using it twice, I was able to get the hang of it. If the line closer to the tip is darker, then a LH surge is detected. I also labeled the sticks with dates using a Sharpie. When I laid the sticks side by side, I was able to see the difference easily.

If you have a Flex Spending Debit Card, ovulation kits are eligible. I tried to use it with Amazon but they were not accepted. However I was able to use it at stores like Target, Wal-Mart, CVS and Walgreens.
