Very, very good. If you have never read about the life of Nanak and the beginnings of Sikhism, pick this up. This man broke all the rules of the time and sought out his own path to God. I understand a lot of Nanak biographies include lots of miracles. All I know of Nanak I got from this book right here. Anyone who is looking at religions and wants to understand more about being a Sikh should read this. Live right, seek God, sing to Him, and keep your head covered! I loan this out a lot and everyone basically says "Wow!" when they return it.

The time during which Guru Nanak came to prominance was one of political corruption and religious opression. He was born into a rich and prominant family, married and met his responsibilities as a son, brother, husband, father, and ethetic. However, his desire to end the sufferings of his countrymen led him on a lifelong journey to seek knowledge, discover Truth, and spread the Word....
