Elizabeth Traynor was the only child in her kindergarten class who knew that blue combined with yellow made green. She decided to be an illustrator when she was 15 years old, while taking art classes at the Delaware Art Museum. She received her BFA in illustration from Rhode Island School of Design and has been an illustrator ever since. Her work can be seen throughout the country, from books, newspapers and magazines, to ads and packaging. She also teaches illustration, passing her love and knowledge of the field onto the next generation of artists. Elizabeth lives with her son, Beau, a budding artist himself, and their cat, Junebug. She divides her time between the Delaware Valley and California.

great book, but....,

The book is great and really informative. The only issue I had was with the review questions in the back. Not all the questions had the answers in the book. It was almost as if some of the questions came from information from another book on Delaware.
