This has a little bit for everyone, but be warned if you are looking for the Parliament you think you know. This is basically 'Osmium' with a few extra tracks which was rereleased as 'Rhenium' in 1990 with almost everyting on this disc. It has some great early funk, but it also has a lot of country soul music. It also has slow songs that, believe it or not, could have ended up on some outtake for Jesus Christ Superstar. Given the time and the place, its an amazing collection of songs with great muscianship and extremely varied influences. The only real stinker is 'Put love in your life' which probably sounded dated and silly the moment it was recorded back in 1970.

The versitility of P-funk is never better expressed than on this record. It has some country, gospel, and lots of funk! George and the boys really show how talented they really are. Funk on.

Early Parliment effort that sounds more like what the group would evolve into, Funkadelic. Very psychodelic. Very funky. Very wierd. All types of sounds here. Free your mind....
