Simply put, this is a beautiful album. I'm so glad I finally got a CD version after so many years with a worn out cassette. The lyrics have a characteristically clever turn to them. Bennett has a natural gift for lyrics. Very memorable! What's better are the amazingly beguiling melodies. Wow! You'll be humming these for days. Oh yeah, Bob is a pretty good guitarist too. At times there's a hint of James Taylor's playing, but Bob's got his own musical voice going on here. This is a fabulous first effort.
