I first heard Nadia as a commentator on a WNYC special project, I think on John Cage. She really knew her stuff. Then, I heard Nadia perform on the inaugural concert at WNYC's new Jerome L Greene Performance Space. What can I say, Kim Kashkashian, hold on to your hat. Nadia is an exceptionally gifted viola specialist. I bought this album as soon as it was out. I have listened to it several times and have not been disappointed.

I would recommend buying this album right now. It is fun music, but is far from simple. The compositions are great, and Nadia and her various supporting musicians play with precision and wonder. Once again, buy this album now, it is fantastic!
