This review is from: First ABC (Usborne Look and Say Board Books) (Board book)
This sturdy, brightly illustrated, alphabet book grabs a very young child's attention, while holding older children's attention if you look beyond the obvious. For example, the "c" page says "car," but if you examine the page, there are far more new vocabulary words to introduce a toddler to, such as, city, cow, construction, cone, cat, carrier, and more if you get creative. Older pre-school aged children can spy the previously listed things in the picture, as well as help make up other "c" words. Maybe the driver is named Cindy, and the man's name is "Curt. There are many ways to play with this book, and use it beyond when your child recognizes the letters of the alphabet. Its sturdy pages will certainly hold up to be able to use for a very long time.
