This really is perfect for babies and toddlers just learning about Valentine's Day. The illustrations are very cozy and cute. The text is simple but catchy.

My kids want to read it over and over, mostly just to take out all the valentine cards on each page and then put them back in when the story is finished. The cards all match the animals, so they have fun finding the right match. My three-year-old thinks the cards are funny, especially the squirrels', "I'm NUTS about you!" Very cute.

This was a nice book for the 1st Valentine's Day. It gave a small story and also showed the child the concept of a Valentine Card. My daughter loved to take the cards out of the envelopes.

This book is adorable! Each two-page spread shows an animal couple: squirrels, cats, seals, lambs, and bears. One page out of the two-page spread has a small red envelope (just smaller than a business card) containing a sweet little valentine that matches those particular animals. For example, the squirrel page has a card with acorns on the front and inside the message says "I'm nuts about you!"

This is an ideal keepsake for your baby that they will treasure when they grow up. Since there are five cards I filled out one from myself and had my husband, grandma, grandpa, and her aunt fill out the others with a personal message for her first Valentine's Day.

There are very few special keepsake items for Valentine's Day so this is a rare bird. You'll love it!

My grandson never received the book. The company said that they sent an e-mail telling me it was damaged in the mail, and that they did not have another one to send. First of all, I did not receive that e-mail. Secondly, delivery had too long of a time frame; like 3 weeks. And I couldn't contact the company until after the last possible date of delivery. The good news is that I had no problem receiving reimbursement; but I would not do business with this company again.

Our 9 month old granddaughter loves the book! Since it's titled "My First Valentines Day Book", we feel it should be more durable! The envelopes holding the Valentines aren't too sturdy for a 9 month old baby & she tries to eat the Valentines but the book itself's surviving fairly well!

My 5 month old usually will stare at the pages of any book we read to him but not this book. He couldn't be less interested in it. I wish it was more friendly for young babies who really are celebrating their first valentines day.
