i want to know how bret dragged a four star match out of this wrestler bret was the best wrestler and worker before shawn michaels i miss him this match was surprisingly great had a lot of high flying moves bret did his thing as usual he was the greatest four star plus match wrestler ever having four star match after four star match with anybody he could have even had a classic match in the ring by himself this is one of the best in your house ppv matches of all time on my top 30 list of greatest matches of all time bret hart's workrate was off the charts almost better than beniot if not slightly better than beniot this match got more than enough time haksui did his part in the match for a larger guy he certainly pulled his weight around the ring if hbk and razor didn't have their second ladder match i would have called this match of the year this is a forgetton match i don't why people don't often talk about this match i understand that it is old but so what it is a classic and not just that the match took place in the ppv that was the biggest show of the year maybe if it was at wrestlemania or summerslam this match would have been talked about even to this day bret hart was a wrestling genuis before angle, beniot, and michaels one more thing i don't understand why this match an opener it should have been the main event bret hart was noted for have some of the greatest opening matches of the 90s this match is no exception 4.25 out of 5 stars by joe black

In Your House 1
May 14, 1995 Onandaga County War Memorial Syracuse, New York Bret Hart V. Hakushi Very great opener with some high fyling action by Hakushi and great wrestling (as always) by Bret. Bret wins with a roll-up. ***3/4 Handicap Match: Razor Ramon V. Jeff Jarrett & The Roadie Good match that could have been better if Jarrett's Intercontinental Championship was on the line. Razor wins. **3/4 King Of The Ring Qualifying Match: Adam Bomb V. Mabel Why is this on a Pay-Per-View card? I don't remember qualifying matches being on Pay-Per-View. Maybe someone is being pushed bigtime? But why these two? Interesting...Anyways, Mable wins in a DUD WWF Tag Team Championship: Owen Hart & Yokozuna (Champions) V. The Smoking Gunns This is the first Pay-Per-View that Owen is entering as a Champion and Bret isn't. Weird. But cool! Anyway, the match wasn't bad and it had it's moments but Yoko was just too big (litterly) for the Gunns the handle. *** Brte Hart V. Jerry "The King" Lawler Off match for Bret. However he is wrestling Lawler so it's going to be an off night for anyone. Lawler wins with Hakushi's help. ** WWF Championship: Diesel (Champion) V. Psycho Sid Horrible Championship match with a horrible ending. Sid hits his powerbomb and "hurts" Diesel's elbow even though Diesel doesn't sell the elbow being hurt for the next two weeks and Tatanka (he is still wrestling?) breaks up Diesel's powerbomb and the ref calls for the bell (3/4* match)and then Bam Bam Bigelow comes down and helps Diesel to set up the Main Event at the King Of The Ring. That was Bigelow's exchange for his stupid job at WrestleMania. Lose to a crack-head ex-football player and get a two month main event run by not getting any title matches and only teaming with the Champion for one match. Seems about even to me. What about you? Overall, a good show that could have been better if Bret was champion and Sid wasn't the challenger.

Interesting pay per view. This was at the highlight
at the Bret vs. Jerry Lawler rivalry which started at Summerslam 93 at escalated for several years because Jerry Lawler seeks to badmouth Bret and Hart family every chance he gets. Obviously this is due to jealousy as Lawler is a flop as a wrestler. This a pretty decent pay per view despite the fact that Hart gets screwed (as usual by the WWF for a cheap angle to get ratins like Owen the Hart angle). The buildup is decent though we see footage from WWF Superstars for every match hypiing it up. Bret. vs Hakushi was good, I liked it, Hakushi with his tatooed body and martial arts against Hart provided some interested combos. Bret takes control though however, interference from Lawler ruins the match. Kama vs. Undertaker was pretty coo. Undertaker is the man in the WWF and stil is now. Smoking Gunns vs. Yokozuna and Owen Hart was a so so match hard to believe Owen and Yokozuna were a tag team. Razor Ramon vs. the Roadie vs. Jarrett Intercontinetal title was great though Ramon as good guy vs. two bad guys was in a bad situation. Bret Hart vs. Lawler, Yes Bre Hart wrestles twice in a pay per view, Hart carried the WWF for some time after Hogan left. Hart hates lawler for interfering in the Hakushi and gives him a beating. Hakushi who just cheated to win , comes back and attempts to help Lawler see what happens.... Lets just say the rivalry between Lawler and Hart wouldnt end here. Diesel vs. Psycho Sid for the WWF Championship. Prett great match, Sid Vicious has always been one of my favorites, he is a strong force, and you somewhat get the feeling that he holds back because he doesnt want to send someone to the hospital. Well here he meets someone his own size in Diesel and provides a good match actually chokeslamming Diesel but taking too much time to cover him. Good match. Overall this is a good pay per view for being the first "WWF IN YOUR HOUSE"
