5.0 out of 5 stars inexpensive but very complete kit
As a youth coach, I needed a first aid kit as described in the Rutgers SAFETY clinic coaches reference manual. This kit was the only one I could find under $100 that had just about everything recommended in the manual. I think it is more complete than the kits available from Red Cross. Tons of bandaids, plus gauze, tape, scissors, ointments, bug sting swabs, hydrogen...

3.0 out of 5 stars a lot of mediocre stuff
This is a medium to somewhat less than medium quality kit. There are a large number of items, but the quality of the case is poor, the quality of the instruments is mediocre, and overall I was not pleased when I received it. When I opened it up, much of the contents fell out. So, I glued the plastic insert in the case to hold it together. You must open it at a 45...

As a youth coach, I needed a first aid kit as described in the Rutgers SAFETY clinic coaches reference manual. This kit was the only one I could find under $100 that had just about everything recommended in the manual. I think it is more complete than the kits available from Red Cross. Tons of bandaids, plus gauze, tape, scissors, ointments, bug sting swabs, hydrogen peroxide spray, gloves, a hot/cold pack and instant cold pack, even some sunscreen packets, hand sanitizer packets, and saline solution. The only thing missing was a first aid manual. Note that this kit is big, 13.5" x 11.5" x 4", which is what I was looking for (had enough room to add a small flashlight, a small tube of petroleum jelly and some extra hand sanitizer), but if you are looking for a travel kit this may be too big.

You must open it at a 45 degree angle to keep the contents inside. Bummer. The printing on the case is cheap, as is the case. It does not fit together well enough to keep water out. Spend more money and get something better, or the same amount and something smaller but better quality. Just my opinion.

... so long as you don't buy it from Amazon. Sam's Club has it for around $20.

It's a basic first aid kit. Buy one for your house, one for your car. Supplement it with a few odds and ends (Celox, Waterjel, Diphenhydramine/Benadryl, StaphAseptic, etc.) to fill in the gaps and it's ready to go.

Inexpensive, well equipped, and innovative. As a combat medic of 8 years I've had the opportunity to test a plethora of different aid platforms, and this is... BY FAR... the best basic first aid kit I've come across. A neat feature that they don't mention is the multilayer system and rotating med pockets for easy access.

The kit contains everything you need, is well organized, and can be hung for easy and quick access for emergency situations. The supplier, Backyard Chef, went out of their way to replace the original kit which had arrived damaged. Would definitely purchase this kit again and deal with the same supplier.

but it is a very large basic kit filled with enough product for many minor injuries, at a great price. Thanks to ramseydad, I purchased this for a youth baseball team. I supplemented the contents with some ace bandages and extra ice packs. It gives me peace-of-mind that we can react to simple medical needs on the field. Also from Amazon, I purchased a low-end duffel bag to keep everything together (see my other reviews). All told, a very complete and inexpensive traveling first aid solution.

5.0 out of 5 stars Seems complete, March 14, 2008
This review is from: First Aid Kit With Hard Case- 326 pcs- First Aid Complete Care Kit - Exceeds OSHA & ANSI Guidelines - Ideal for the Workplace - Disaster Preparedness (Colors May Vary) (Health and Beauty)
This first aid kit has a lot of things in it. I wish that the product description on the page could have included all of the contents of the kit, but I'm also not willing to type it all out, so I understand their lack of enthusiam to do so. Only complaint is that it didn't have any triangular bandages.

No problems with the kits upon arrival. All sealed in plastic overwrap.. so they were good and dry when I received them.

The case is a little flimsy but I don't think the intent was ever to be packing it around like a first responder kit. I'm very happy with the product.
