Inexpensive and effective,
This review is from: The First Years Disney Pooh Soft Potty Seat (Baby Product)
We got this seat when our 14 1/2 month old daughter showed a real interest in potty training. We had looked at potty units but they were awful pricy and seemed like they would be a total pain to keep clean. We opted for one this seat and a step stool instead. The seat doesn't take up hardly any room in her bathroom. Most times we just leave it on the seat for her. It is easily cleaned with a bleach clean up wipe. Plus it is very convenient and easy to use. There isn't anything to empty or try to keep clean. Plus this unit doesn't do any of the silly and destracting things like play music which some of the chiars did. She also likes the handles on the sides. They give her something to hold on to as she still a bit unstable. They also keep her hands off the toilet paper which she loves to unroll. All in all, this has been an inexpensive and effective way to start potty training her. At he rate she is going she should be completely done by mid-fall and I think it has alot to do with this seat.

Best Toilet Potty Ring out there,

We have several toilets so I bought other potty seats intially so I didn't have to carry up and down stairs. The handles are a must for the user to get on and for the cleaner to take the seat out without touching icky stuff. The boy cup in this one is not removable by the user. On one other model I had, the cup didn't last a day. This ring is by far the most stable. As for the reviews about it being unstable, I wonder if the foam supports were put on. In addition, your child is supposed to be supervised in the bathroom! Good grief! They shouldn't be leaning over for anything... hand them the book! And chafing? How long is the kid sitting there? Overall and excellent seat. I ended up replacing all the potty seats in the house with this model.

WONDERFUL!,

Two words....FOUR DAYS! My husband is in the military, so we had to plan our potty training time around when he was scheduled to be home. We expected to be on "lock down" for about one or two weeks. I read lots of reviews about different potty seats. They always seemed to have the same problems...the seat was too small, too uncomfortable, the pee guard wasn't big enough or it would come off too easily. Well, my son has always been in the 90th percentile; I don't have time to mess around with a seat that is too small, or a pee guard that doesn't stop the pee from spraying everywhere! I also didn't want any music or lights that may distract him from why he's sitting there; it's potty time...NOT play time! The first time, we had to leave him on the potty for about 10 minutes or so before he actually went. It's a good thing I went for comfort too!!! Since I was able to leave him there without his little butt hurting and with no unnecessary distractions, it only took us 4 DAYS to potty train him!!! Oh yeah, and he was only 21 months old...wow! He is now 2 (he turned 2 in August), and wearing ONLY undies...to bed, in public...always! I recommend this potty seat to everyone! I'm pregnant now, due in October. I'll be getting another one when it's time to train our little girl...for sure! Good luck moms!!!
