My baby and I LOVED this swaddler blanket. It is not too heavy, so can be used in the spring/summer if your baby likes to be swaddled, which my baby loved.

It is hard for babies to get out of, and it solves the problem of baby being wrapped up in so many layers, (when you use a regular blanket and wrap baby yourself)
It is easy to use, which makes swaddling a cranky, squirmy baby a little less stressful.

I only wish it came in more than one size.

My baby grew out of this fast. She could push her feet out the bottom and pull her arms out the top. I suggest the swaddle me works way better and they have a bigger size when they grow out of the newborn one

I love this blanket I recieved it at my babyshower and my little girl loves it. I use it every night on her and she sleeps well through the night. I personally don't wrap her arms in it, she likes it that way. So if you want a blanket that wraps newborn arms inside this is not the blanket for you. It is very easy for the baby to get out of blanket when they are fussy and kicking. But that is okay to me because that means they don't want to be wrapped up in the blanket.

My daughter was 10 lbs at birth and this blanket was still too big for her. The point of swaddling is to wrap the arms,and this blanket just doesn't wrap tight enough for that. At three months old she's 17 lbs and can still get out of it fairly easily. You can forget about tucking the legs into that cute little pocket inside, then the baby just stretches her legs out and, voila! no more swaddling blanket. Much cheaper and easier to just get a large, lightweight receiving blanket and wrap her by hand. Don't waste your money on this one.

Our little girl hates the process of being swaddled and gets hot wrapped in lots of layers, but sleeps so much better when she's wrapped up tight. Thought this would make it easier for me, and harder for her to squirm out of, but at 4 weeks old and 9.5 lbs she's swimming in it. It would be great if the fleece fastening tab were a few inches wider, but as-is it's useless.
On the upside, it appears to be well made. It's soft and lightweight, great for summertime.

This thing is basically useless for my baby. The velcro portion is positioned in such a way that it's impossible to get it snug enough. After rewrapping and going in to my crying daughter 5 or 6 times the first night, I fished my kiddopotomus out of the laundry, wrapped her up and haven't heard a peep since. This swaddler will be going straight to Good Will.

Every child is different but my daughter hated this. She hated the swaddler, screamed and wriggled out whenever we put her in it, no matter how loosely wrapped. She preferred the sleep sack which is easier to put on.

We had several different brands of swaddling blankets for our daughter and these were BY FAR my favorite!

They are the perfect size for a newborn. Some of the others are way too big to be used at the age they are most needed, but the First Years swaddle blankets are great. Also, they are easy to use and hard for your little one to work their way out of.

A must have for your baby!
