These tales are wonderful tools for opening discussions. As a team facilitator, I have used them to get people from different areas of company thrown together to serve on a multifunctional team to talk freely. I choose a tale related top the topic and place them around the room before the first session. By the second cup of coffee, they are the subject of conversation because they are so easy to read, with interesting subjects raised with a light touch. The topics covered are issue oriented, connected with values.
