This review is from: Fisch 31200635 1/4-Inch by 3/8-Inch Shank Forstner Bit (Tools & Home Improvement)
I thought I had been using decent forstner bits until I started using these Fisch bits (I got this one as part of a seven piece set). This bit cut cleanly with zero tearout and no burning. When I say cleanly, I mean that the inside walls of the finished hole feel like they were sanded down with 180+ grit sandpaper. That has proven to be the case whether I am drilling q/s white oak, cheap white pine, or plywood. I get the same fantastic results each time. I highly recommend this bit and I know I will be using Fisch forstner bits for a long time to come.
