BDS612002 6" X 48" Oscillating Belt and 12" Disk Multi-Sander-The Fisch 6 X 12 Multi-Sander has received rave reviews from some of the leading woodworking publications. The lower rpm speed of the disk (2000 rpm) and belt (1570 sf/m), coupled with the esclusive oscillating motion of the belt can greatly reduce the chance of burning your wood. Precise location of the 4" dust collection outlet eliminates most of the dust related to sanding on this machine. This sander is made of cast iron, including the tables, and sits on a totally enclosed metal cabinet. Sitting within this cabinet is a 1-1/2 hp motor which powers the V belt driven sander. Oscillating belt, lower sanding speeds, superior dust collection, and cast iron construction, just a few of the reasons the Fisch Multi-Sander has outdistanced the competition.
