all mountain rippers, January 5, 2011
This review is from: Fischer Addict Pro Alpine Ski (Misc.)
pros:
stiff flex for a twin tip
handle groomers and crud great
172 and 181 length options
cons:
too stiff for a jib ski
could use more sidecut for midwestern hills
kinda heavy in the jumps
these skis can really rip on all mountain groomers, especially when mounted about 3 inches back of center. in my opinion, they are more an all mountain ski than a park ski. at 84mm underfoot, they're not exactly powder boards, but they can pound through the crud pretty nicely, and will float you in powder much better than fis-legal race boards.
my only complaint is that skiing in the midwest, it's hard to find hills steep and long enough to utilize the 22m radius. i would suggest the 172 length (which also has a smaller radius) for people skiing on smaller hills.
