This is something that I have been waiting on for a loooong time!! Chali was always the prime reason that I enjoyed Jurassic 5 so much and he doesn't disappoint on his second release, this kid is amazing. The rhymes are real tight and so is the level of musicianship. The only reason that I didn't give this 5 stars is because of the cut with Beanie Man (who I can't stand) which was pretty tired (because of Beanie not Chali), and because on the cut with Stephen and Damien Marley...this cut would have been killa if Damien had toasted on it but him and Steve just sing all the way through which was kind of disappointing. Other than that this is a rock solid cd and a great alternative to the violence, sex, pimpin', dealin', druggin', and partying on most of the rap that is out right now. BUY THIS!!!!!...you won't be disappointed.

Those who know recognize those who don't improvise. This is a well construct hiphop classic from CHali...As the radio announcer stated ... has a very nice voice and an equally nice flow and lyrical delivery. The words just roll off his tongue. The music is very dancable and one song leads right into another. An all star list of collaboraters..... Talib, newcomer Chokolate. It truly acknowledges the fact that there are still gems being produced.

I am so glad that artists like 2na have record deals. Rappers today have screwed up the music so bad that people are starting to call real hip hop "alternative rap". As far as the album goes, I've always liked Chali 2na and the rest of J5, and he has proven to be a more versatile lyricist than I expected on this album. It's so hip hop. If ur brainwashed into lovin today's rap, then you don't want this album. This one is definitely in heavy rotation for me

I can not think of enough words to explain how good Chali 2na is. I could whip out a thesaurus and bring forward a myriad of synonyms, that could define how amazing this guys raps are. And still it would be just the tip to the iceberg, in a lengthy diagnosis of mister 2na. If you have never heard of him before now, then I shed a tear for you. You have been missing out on one of the prime examples of true style in hip-hop culture. I can't think of many lyricists on his level, Gift of Gab comes close. Yet even his masterfull skill with words falls short of Chali's skill.

Not even a huge fan of hip-hop, but 2na is as true of an artist as there is. His flow and voice is unlike anyone I have ever heard. If you have grown tired of the things you are hearing from rappers today, flash back with 2na. I promise it will not disappoint.

I'm sorry Chali, you're my favorite artist out of Jurassic-5, so I don't know what went wrong. I like this CD, but I can't give it a five-star rating. I think this CD is way better than the previous solo album, Fish Market, but it doesn't come close to anything that came out of J-5 or even Chali's song on the remixed Linkin Park album, Reanimation. That song is my favorite song out of everything Chali 2na is on, if you haven't heard it before, you have to give it a listen. Maybe this CD will grow on me, but that isn't how I want to approach anything from any of my favorite musicians. There are a few upbeat tracks and a bit of a political message, sometimes subliminal, sometimes quite blunt, a few guest artists, but all in all, nothing entirely memorable.

I've been waiting for this album for what seems like 800 billion years. Fish market was great but it was a mixtape. I always wanted a full LP, and now I have one. I am so happy to finally have a full one from Chali! If you're skeptical about purchasing this album whether it be digitally, or the CD itself then you need to put a cease to the skepticism. This album is everything you wanted and probably more. I love it!

I mean Cmon...it's Chali 2na...he could rap over a beat made of nothing other than farts made into a beat and it would still be great. If you read any negative reviews about this album, then just disregard them because they have no idea what they're talking about.
