I loved FISH POLICE. It was well-drawn, well-written, silly, just a touch existential, and an awful lot of fun. Sadly, it's long-out of print and has never been collected in its entirety, unlike some other gems (Bill Loebs' JOURNEY comes to mind*). What's frustrating in reading the back issues is that it's never - ever - been printed in a uniform format. Some issues were in black and white, some in color, and a few (thanks to this oop collection) were available both in color and b&w.Five minutes, gimme just five minutes with the guy who decided Fish Police isn't worth a single-volume "phonebook" (omnibus, essential, whatever) collection. *[Hmmm, maybe IDW or iBooks would be interested?] |
