5.0 out of 5 stars A good guide to fundamentals, June 28, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Fish Swimming (Fish and Fisheries) (Hardcover)
This book is a good guide to the fundamentals of fish swimming, hydrology, etc. It is missing a few of the new publications, such as the work of James C Liao and his partners at Harvard. But that can be expected from a book of this age. Anyone starting out with looking at how fish perceive their environment and looking at energy expenditure etc should start out here and continue on to the other major works in this area (which shouldn't be hard by following Web of Knowledge to see who used this book as a reference).
