We've had this dollhouse for a couple of years now. My children have enjoyed playing with it off an on, but they enjoy their 'little people' house, barn, fire station, etc much more. This 'loving family' doll house is a little on the 'rickety' side - the steps broke off within a week [they were REALLY flimsy], and the whole dollhouse is a little on the flimsy side. I would never call this a 'durable' toy. For the price, it is not a very good deal in my opinion - were I to do it over, I'd pick another toy and skip this one.

I bought this doll house for Christmas when my daughter was 3 years old. She begged for a "big girl" dollhouse. She loved it. She is now 8 years old and still loves to play with it. We have purchased additional furniture and people and accessories as she has gotten older. It is the one toy she still has from when she was 3 and refuses to part with. Every year for Christmas she asks for a new furniture set, or accessory kit. At her age, she loves the horses and barn that go with the house. Sometimes she even uses her house for Barbie....(sorry Mattel) but this one is more versatile. We LOVE this house. It is large enought to play with yet small enough to fit anywhere. It folds up and all the furniture goes inside. And also, it has NEVER broken!!! Very durable.

My 3 Year Old Daughter received this for her birthday and it is actually her 1st Dollhouse!!! I think it is a great toddler dollhouse. It is a beautiful house inside and out. And, it was great that all I had to do was take it out of the box and put some stickers on it and it was ready to go. Though please note that it only came with a mom, dad, baby, dog, baby swing, table and chairs........SO..........you will need to get more furniture to fill all the rooms in the house. Luckily, each room set (bathroom, bedroom, etc.) aren't that much a piece. I know my daughter and I (yes, I like to play with it too) will enjoy if for a long time to come.

This dollhouse folds up small - and is small. If you purchase extra furniture sets you have a difficult time getting them arranged inside for both play and storage. The plastic furniture seems sturdier than the house!

If you purchase extra people - it is a tight squeeze. My kids ended up setting the furniture up on a chair in the kitchen and pretending that the seat of the chair is the upstairs and under the chair is the kitchen and living areas. MMM - it's going in the Goodwill Box!

My daughter received this as a Christmas gift when she was 3yrs old. It did not come with many accessories...but since I knew that she was getting it as a gift-I bought the extras for her as the rest of her Christmas. She is almost 5 now and still loves to play with it (it has held up well!). Even the older neighbor girls come over and play with the doll house for hours at a time. Each year at Christmas I try to get her a new item to add to the doll house. This is a toy that I would like to hang on to for a long time.

My daughter (age5) has had this dollhouse for almost a year now, she and I both love it. She loves it because it has so many accessories and she can set it up and play with it all by herself...and just to tell you how much fun she has with it, my 7 year old son jumps right in with her! All the different furniture is so durable and compatible with other "no-name" doll sets that she has. But I do admit, once you buy the extra funiture sets you can not store them in the house after play - but so what! She has a small storage container that keeps all her furniture and access. within reach and makes for easy clean up. The house is durable, but not too heavy for her to carry. While carrying it it doesn't fall apart like a few others she has had which means we can take it with us sometimes and gives her hours of play away from home! I think it is definately worth the low price, great buy for the money!

We bought the original Loving Family Dollhouse when my daughter was 3 years old. She is now nearly 7 and still loves to play with it. We buy new furniture and accessories every year. Though the housing "styles" may change, the premise is still the same - little girls love playing with dollhouses and Fisher-Price has created all the family members, accessories and pets to make every playtime fantasy come true. What a great buy and enduring toy for our family!

My daughter received this dollhouse for her birthday. She has been enthralled with it ever since! There are so many accesories the play time seems almost endless. So far the items have seemed very durable, I think this is a toy we will use for years to come!

When my girls were 2-3 years old, this was the favorite toy as the dolls fit nicely in their hands and they liked the articlated arms and legs. Very quickly, though, my oldest started taking to Fisher Price's Sweet Streets grouping (smaller sizes and more buildings/accessories) ... For a while this doll house just sat, but now the girls have dubbed this doll house "the mansion" and they've incorporated it into their Sweet Streets collection. The Sweet Streets furniture and people actually are a better size for this doll house and the girls "decorate" using the Sweet Street furniture. As some of the reviewers point out, the Loving Family Furniture is pretty big for this doll house and tough to get it to fit right, but the Sweet Streets furniture (again, smaller scale) works very well! For those of you having a tough time finding additional furniture, consider Sweet Streets and mix the sets. It has breathed new life into our doll house! (The Loving Family dolls and family pretty much just sit in a basket these days, but the doll house still gets lots of playtime!) Really, we love the Sweet Streets Collection the best!

I love the fact that this toy can fold up for easy storage and all the toys fit inside. The house is sturdy and well built. My daughter and I both enjoy playing with it.
