This toy is so fun and educational! My 18-month old daughter got it for Christmas. Although she obviously isn't really using it for its educational purposes yet, she loves pushing the buttons, moving the rings on the abacus and playing with all of the little people. The abacus rings do stick slightly at the top when moved around. But my daugther had no trouble moving them. As others stated, I was very pleasantly surprised to see the little storage compartment in the back, it does fit all of the people easily. This is SUCH an adorable toy. I really like that it comes with 10 little people, all holding a number 1-10. It also comes with a little easel and piano - cute additions. Fisher Price definitely thought about all the small details on this one!

I bought this for my 2.5 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She loves it and it is the first toy she plays with every morning. There are so many activities to do with this toy, that I think it will continue to grow with her for some time. It is bright and colorful. The sound isn't too loud as it can be with some preschool toys. You do have to flatten the mat for a few days, as you also have to do with the similar ABC Zoo, but then it sits nice and flat.

I bought this for my Goddaughter for Christmas and she immediately opened it up, set it up, and played with it the whole afternoon. Hopefully she will learn her colors and numbers from this toy. I think she will!!

I wish I had bought this sooner for my 3 yr old daughter. She loves playing with it. In a few days time she has learned almost every number by sight. She enjoys matching up each character (each one is holding a number) with their spot on the play mat. I would jokingly say "OK, I'm going to put this FOUR on the mat" while holding a SEVEN & she would giggle uncontrollably and say "That's NOT A FOUR". If she forgets the name of a number she can find out for herself by simply placing it on the proper spot on the mat. I thought this feature alone was well worth the money. The other counting and play parts are just an added bonus. Yes the mat has a little fold in it from the way it was packaged but it doesn't affect the play at all......

After playing with this toy twice my 19 month old daughter is counting and can recognize the number 7 She loves it and it holds her attention well. It is very sturdy she has sat on it several times and has not hurt it at all. A must have for Christmas!

My 23 month old really likes this. I can put it away for a day, and when I bring it back out she plays with the people and number rings for almost 30 minutes. It isn't too loud, either. There are only about 5 places to put the people, but my daughter seems not to notice.

I bought this for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas this past year. It's an especially adorable toy & it does everything it's supposed to do without being too loud or in any way annoying.

In no way did I expect the so-called educational features of this to be a substitute for my own care, teaching, or involvement with my child. I just thought the toy would be fun.

I'm only giving this 3 stars because, while it's exactly like it should be, my daughter never EVER plays with this. EVER. Even if I get it out or leave it out, it stays untouched. Even when I play with it, thinking she'll join in, she doesn't. One time one of my 5 year olds came along and played & he seemed happy for about 10 minutes. My 2 year old has really never touched this toy. This is unusual & unexpected because she LOVES Little People and she's 'all about' preschool...when she'll be going, what she'll be doing, etc... She only received this and 2 other things, so it's not due to an overload of options, it's just simple lack of interest.

Oh, well, maybe she'll change her mind later on. If not, I'm sure I can unload it on eBay.

My two year old likes this toy as it teaches her numbers and colors. She has no interest in the little people and they stay in the storage compartment in the back. This was a good purchase for her.

I bought this for my daughter's 3rd birthday, I think it is a really cute toy. Very Eduational, my daughter really seems to enjoy it.

My daughter loves to play teacher, and she loves Little People, so this toy hit the mark with her - her favorite Christmas present!
