This is a great toy that stimulates the imagination. It is perfect either as an extension to the main dollhouse, or as a playset on its own. When my daughter plays with it, she gets so enthralled in her game that she becomes oblivious to the world around her! (This is true about all of the Loving Family accessories.) It is also very cute looking.
When she is done playing, my daughter loves toting this around by its carrying strap. It does take some maneuvering to get all the peices to fit inside when it is folded. My daughter cannot do this without an adult's help.
All four pieces of furniture cannot be set up in the room at once, so while playing you have to put one piece on the floor in front of the room, or in the big dollhouse. This does not seem to bother my daughter, though.
The swinging cradle also tips over when pushed. I would like to try to glue something weighted onto the base to make it more steady. Hopefully this will work. These problems are minor compared to the tremendous play value that this toy has to offer. This is the perfect toy to keep your little ones busy for hours on end.

I got this as an accesory when our new baby arrived to help the 2 older kids participate through play. The addition had to be made to the doll house just as we had to make some adjustments for the new baby. Great way to help kids prepare and accept the arrival of a new sibling. And, as the other review points out, can be (and is) played with on it's own. Some of the parts are very small and a bit difficult to manipulate but I haven't heard any complaints!
