My almost 3 year old daughter loves this toy, she got it a week ago for christmas...and yes, the animals take a bit of effort to go on the pegs, but I am usually there to help a bit...plus my daughter likes to use her other little people figures in the set. It is a more appropriate toy for 2 and up I'd think, a little difficult for younger than that..I like that is folds up nice and neat, the animals fit into the structure fine for storage. We've had no problems with the tightrope feature, works fine for us and she's had tons of fun with it. So far it's one of the top 3 gifts she got for christmas, I love watching her imagination at work while playing with it.

My 2 year old daughter saw this at the store and had to have it for

Christmas. She loves it, and I love that it doesn't do all the work for her, and it serves as a platform for her imagination. It's a great stage for all her characters to do various tricks that she and I create.

Difficult to put the animal pieces on the circus. She likes the toy, but it is difficult to play with.

My son got this little people circus for his 1st birthday and he loves it. I wasn't sure if he would like it but he really uses his imagination with it and he can play with it for hours. He especially loves the monkeys tail and the music. I would have never thought of buying this for him but I'm so glad he received it as a gift because he's so happy when he plays with it. By the way, I read some of the reviews about this product and my son hasn't had any problems with it.

My five year old was a HUGE fan of all things Little People, so when daughter number two came along, I thought, "How can I go wrong with more Little People stuff?" Well, apparently Little People aren't her bag. Bummer deal, because this is really cute, but doesn't have much for the kids to do with it. Even my five year old who loves her Little People never really took to this. She's all about her imaginative play, but this for some reason seemed to be lacking something. I just never felt there was much that the kids could really DO with it that would keep them entertained... There are other Little People pieces that were so much more well received, like the house, the farm/barn, the carnival stuff with ferris wheel, the playground... those all have gotten hours of play. This particular item though seems to leave the kids baffled when it comes to stories. ?

I bought this for my 1 year old for Christmas and my 4 year old ended up loving it just as much as the 1 year old. Some of the reviews I had read said that people thought the swing was too hard for their children to use. We did not have that experience. My kids love this toy.

We got one of these for our 2 year old. She can't put the people on it either! We returned the first one because the trapese didn't stay up. Now the second one is the same way :(

Not impressed with this one. I love the A to Z zoo, buy that one instead!

My daughter has had this toy for three years (she received it as a gift on her 1st birthday) and still loves to play with it! And what's not to love? A wacky mirror, a face in the hole photo op, brightly colored stage, a poodle and lion that twirl to circus music and applause, a wacky elephant, and a monkey as the ringleader of this goof crew who rides the trapese which really works to the tune of "the man on the flying trapeze! Folds up for convenient storage and as always, very durable and is sure to provide your child with years and years of fun, imaginative play! Highly reccommended!! :)

My daughter received this for her first birthday and it has caused several injuries to her. The item is large with 2 hinged sections and when she tries to carry it by the built in-handle, she trips and falls on it. It seems like the edges are too sharp and I find the metal tight rope wire too hazardous for her. The item doesn't weigh much, it's just too bulky and awkward for a child that young. She is now 16 months old and I finally put it away for when she's at least 2. I'm sure once she's older this will be a fine toy for her.

I am telling people not to buy this toy. Like some of the other reviewers have mentioned, this toy causes injuries. My Daughter has scratched herself on it several times, and so have I. She also never played with it. Also, It is a VERY boring toy. With the money I paid for it, I expected more. I just try to sell it at a Garage Sale for $1, and I couldn't get rid of it. I ended up throwing it away, instead of donating it to Salvation Army with the other stuff I donated. You're better pff purchasing something else a little safer, and a little more fun.
