5.0 out of 5 stars Part of my sons GeoTrax town
My son got this for Christmas last year. It HAS to be included every time we set up the geotrax. We dont necessarily put the hill and the tunnel together because you dont have to (as with all geotrax stuff its interchangeable)

3.0 out of 5 stars Should have more track
This is a nice set, but it really does need to have the amount of track included increased. The mountain is neat, and obviously the maker is trying to get the customer to buy more of their product, but I think for the money they could add enough track to make it more self-contained. I ended up going on Craig's list to buy supplemental track, and was able to save quite a bit of money that way. I must say that these tracks are Very sturdy - the extra tracks that I bought used were in perfect condition.

Grandsons love it, and it will offer years of enjoyment so worth the price. Would recommend purchasing (as I did) the "elevation" track set so it can be fully integrated into a complete layout.

My 6 year old and I spend a lot of time with geotrax, and this is a great addition for those of us who enjoy the elevations... We typically get our set up over three feet, so anything that helps us get it higher is a great purchase.
The looping track going under the tunnel is fun, and this is a handy thing to have on the edge of a layout since it makes it easy to get down from a couple levels up and turned in a different direction.

This is the second release of the Mile High Mountain. The first version sold very well and then became one of the most expensive items on the secondary Market. The mountain allows you to take your "Geotrak" system two "levels" up. Although the set is designed to stand alone and be a "dead end" at the top, you can add track at the top. This allowed you to build from the floor to the couch, for example, or to use a second Mountain or the Train Ramp sets to have a high road set that comes back down to another part of the Layout.

Geotrax is a durable product lines with appeal to many young age ranges - even when playing together.
