Our daughter is almost 2 and she is a huge Dora fan, so we took her to the store to pick out a Dora doll and this is the one she chose. Well, it has not disappointed. She takes this doll with her everywhere she goes and sleeps with it too. She absolutely loves it. The doll talks whenever you touch it, she says phrases in English and Spanish, which I really like. But, when this gets annoying, or when it's time to take her to bed, I just turn the switch off in Dora's back and the talking stops. Overall, this is a great doll, and my daughter could not be happier with it. Definitely worth the money.

My 3 year old daughter picked this out at Target a few days ago. She loves it! She really likes to sing the song with Dora.
She won't leave home without it. We have dropped her several times already and she still works great!

My daughter (15 months old) just received this doll as a gift and she LOVES her! She dances around with the dolly and loves on her a lot!! As for the previous review about it being loud, I didn't find it to be any louder than any other talking/singing toy! Also, there is an "off" switch on her back where the batteries go (which is nice when you've had enough). She switches to "nap" time when laid down (you can feel the weight shift) so it's great as a sleeping companion, as long as she isn't picked up. Overall, if it makes my baby girl happy, it makes me happy!

My daughter loves this doll she takes it everywhere. It is so cute when she sings along with it. I don't understand all the fuss about how loud it is just turn it off when you don't want to hear it!

My 23-month-old daughter loves Dora and received this doll as a gift. She likes it OK. My husband and I hate it. I don't think it really sounds like Dora. It's close, but not quite. The head is large (as I guess Dora's is), so it's very top heavy. After two months, the hair is quite an unfixable mess.

The doll is SOOOO loud that there is not way my daughter could go to sleep with it. One night, darling daughter was fighting bed time. Her Daddy finally laid her in bed, and she bumped up against Buenas Noches Dora and off Dora and my daughter went. Found out that Buenas Noches Dora can fly quite far when tossed by Daddy though.

The doll does have an off switch on the back, but what fun is that? I think there are better products for your Dora fans.

When we transitioned our daughter (then 22 mo.) into a "big girl" bed, we bought her this doll as a present to go with her new bed. It definitely helped ease her at bed time, as we would tell her that Dora is tired and wants to go to sleep in her new bed. If bumped into at night, Dora will start talking. Thank goodness our daughter is a heavy sleeper once she falls asleep. She does have an off switch though. Overall, this is a very durable toy and we have had no problems the few months we have had Dora.

Ok, this should be the sweetest little night time dolly, singing a lullabye to your child. HOWEVER - she talks/sings with just the slightest movement - no pressing any body part required!! ugh... it will wake your child up when she gets rolled over on. She does have an on/off switch, thank goodness!! She is cute, but not really a good bedtime toy!!!!!

I bought this for my 2 year old who loves Dora. She likes it but played with it for about 4 minutes and hasn't played with it since. I put it in bed with her and she hit it in the middle of the night and it scared her to death because it's SO loud. We could here it down the hallway through a closed door it was so loud. I've put it up on a shelf for when she is older. The Star song it plays is much mnore entertaining then the seperate phrases.

It's a cute doll and if your daugther is a Dora fan (which chances are she is) its worth the $20 bucks. However it does begin to get extremely annoying very quickly! Luckily there's an "off" switch. As far as it being an educational tool, she just randomly spews out phases.

My daughter loved this doll. She learned the songs and sang with Dora all around the house. The greatest part of it is that did did it so much my husband got anoyed and turned it off with out my daughter knowing it had a botton to turn it off. My daughter thought dora really had gone to sleep and she would tell it to wake up....

The onl bad part about this doll is that I have not found a way to remove the night gown. My daughter has dragged it aong so much that it is very dirty. I am kind of glad she left it in her aunts house by mistake b/c I dont want her playing with it just because the gown cant be removed to wash.
