We bought this toy for our 2 year old son and it has been a huge hit. He had never played soccer before, so I was impressed at how quickly he learned to score a goal. We first set it to the beginner stage and he was able to get the idea very quickly because every time the ball hit the net the sounds were set off. Then he learned to aim for the target and is getting quite good at this. I have to say this is a very educational toy because it teaches that physical exercise can be very fun and the immediate rewards are very reinforcing. My husband and I have had almost as much fun with it as my son!

My son got this for his 3rd birthday last year. My daughter (5) and Son just loves it. It sparked some interest in soccer for both of them - My daughter now plays on a team. They are able play it with all sizes of balls so it will grow with them. We even had it in the house, garage on bad weather days and held their interest for a long time. This toy also has weathered well outside in the rain and cold weather. It was inside during the winter. The kids really like the target and it says "SCORE". This is great for foot/eye cordination, and gross motor skills. I would recommend this toy for all ages.

$59.99? Isn't this the same item that was selling for $19.99 just last week on Amazon? And Super Sounds Soccer is listed on the Fisher-Price website for $25.00. What's going on here?!

Why Bother Including a Ball???????,

We just purchased this for my 3 year old daughter and I was very dissapointed when we opened it. The ball was so small and flimsy that we had to purchase another one. The goal itself seems to be ok although the net is stretched very thight causing the ball to bounce back out. Hopefully it will stretch out over time. My daughter did enjoy it after we purchased a real soccer ball. They should include a normal size ball or sell this as a goal only!!!!!!

Great, but buyer beware...,

We purchased this for our 3 year old after watching him kick a soccer ball for the first time like he had been playing forever. While the net is fantastic, buyers should be forewarned that the photos on the box are VERY misleading. The ball that comes with the set is not a proper soccer ball. It is a small inflatable plastic ball about the size of an orange or small grapefruit with painted pentagons on it. The photo makes the ball seem much larger than it actually is. Ours came with no needle to inflate it. We ditched the ball and wound up purchasing a proper toddler-sized soccer ball. The net was very easy to assemble and our son is having a blast with it. Great for learning eye-foot coordination and gross motor skills.

As a single mother I've assembled enough toys that I felt that putting this together would be cake. I mean, I'm fairly literate and have about average coordination. No big deal. To my surprise, this thing totally pwned me. The directions are vague and none of the pieces are labeled. "Stick this one into that one" isn't real helpful when all the metal tubes look pretty much the same to me. And maybe I'm doing something wrong, but trying to get the net onto it properly had me biting my tongue to keep from cussing like a trucker. I don't know if it was the heat, or the screaming kids whining to help...but I had to put it down and walk away because I was about 30 seconds away from placing it in the street and running it over with my car just for the satisfying crunch. It's still in a mangled pile in my kitchen at the moment, so I can't say for sure whether my kid will like it, or whether yours will. All I know is that as a parent, I can't endorse a product that makes me want to snap it in half over my head while I roar at the sky before it's even functional. ***Update*** I finally got the thing together, but not without raising my blood pressure a few more points. Then I sat back, ready to blow up the ball so my kiddo could start training to become the next Pele...and the directions went something like this: 9) Insert pin (not included) into the ball. 10) Use pump (not included) to inflate. Seriously, Fischer-Price? Seriously? You couldn't squeeze a pre-inflated ball into that big honking box? instead you want me to go out and buy a pin and a pump to inflate yout 15 cent blob of cheapo rubber? That's absurd and unacceptable. I'm going to pick one up at Walmart or Target, I guess. But man, was that the icing on the cake...

I just purchased this item for my 2 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it!!!! I can't get her to come inside of the house once she starts playing. She loves the sounds the soccer net makes, and has started saying, "GOAL" everytimes she kicks the ball inside of the net. I think I might have the next women's soccer star in the making, so watch out!!!!

This toy is more of a gate than a net. The ball comes right back out because the net is stretched so tightly. The ball is also very small. I was hoping for something more realistic.

My son started playing with a soccer ball when he was learning to walk. We bought this shortly after he turned one. He loves it. He is turning three and still plays with it.
