Great learning and entertainment,

This review is from: Fisher Price - Baby Moves (DVD)
I bought this video for my son and he loves it. He speaks to it! the babies are so much fun he loves to watch them crawl and throw balls laugh and play. Additionally, there are anumials on the video and different outdoor scenes, he loves tht puppets that keep the backbone of the video rolling. My son is a toddler and this video keeps him entertained. I have baby einstein at $20 a pop and all the others but this one is the best. The music alone is very good my son dances asas it comes on. There is a bonus with this video, a play group at the end that teaches you how to show your baby the steps of rolling over. I have sent all my friends a copy, and its a great baby shower gift. You just have to get this one the price is great too!!!!!!

My favorite!,

My daughter loves this video and I do too. In fact, she loves all four of the Fisher Price videos. She watched the Baby Einsteins when she was younger, and we tried one of these when she was about 4 months. She wouldn't watch it. But around 6 months she became interested, and now she loves them. These are really well made videos. Educational, entertaining. I was a loyal Baby Einstein fan, but honestly, after watching these videos, I rarely let her watch BE anymore. These videos are so much better. BE is good for younger babes, but after 6 months, I'd go with these.

A God Send,

This review is from: Fisher Price - Baby Moves (DVD)
This series of baby movies is a God Send!!!! My baby's been watching one a day since he was 2 months old. While I'm cooking dinner I put one of these movies on and put my son in his jumperoo. When the music tempo picks up he gets more excited and starts jumping like a nut. When the puppets come on he sits transfixed until their done. This series blows Baby Einstein out of the water. I'm soooo glad I found it!

A Must Have!,

My husband and I bought the Fisher Price series (Baby Moves, Nature Baby, Musical Baby and Baby's Day) for our daughter and she loves them all. She screams with delight every time Ed appears on the screen. We are able to get a few things done around the house as this captures her attention for a full 30 minutes. We love these DVDs and hope that Fisher Price puts out more in the series!

Well worth purchasing!!,

If your child likes watching other babies, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this series. My daughter has watched this one and Baby's Day over and over and is still completely enthralled with them. This one is great because it shows kids playing with a ball, etc and even though she's only 12 months old she'll go pick up her ball and play with it at the same time! She talks at the TV all the while she's watching it. It's so much better than a lot of the "fast action" cartoon-type movies. This is almost all live action of real babies. She also likes the puppets that are shown inbetween each segment.

Fisher Price vs. Baby Einstein,
By Stacy (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Fisher Price - Baby Moves (DVD)
I bought this DVD at a second hand store and wanted to see how it compared to Baby Einstein. I read lots of good reviews about this DVD. After viewing it with my 14 month old, He did like it especially the different babies and kids. He didn't think much of the puppets though. He loves and laughs so much to the puppets on Baby Einstein. The only thing I didn't like compared to Baby Einstein is that the Fisher Price one moves too quickly from scene to scene. I like how Baby Einstein stays on a scene for a while and doesnt switch quickly. The only thing I liked better in the Fisher Price one is that it shows alot more babies and kids than Baby Einstein. I like the music for both as well. In the end, I do favor Baby Einstein over Fisher Price.

Keeps babies and preschoolers happy and occupied,

Like the other three titles in this discontinued series from Fisher-Price, Baby Moves is a good way to keep babies and preschoolers happy and occupied, while teaching them a thing or two about the world and the English language. The program has five segments, featuring a few things that move, like balls and trains. Each segment has three parts: introducing movements, puppet show, and movements in the real world. Our family faves are the three puppets, Taa, Dee and Ed. It just sucks that their skits are way too short. It also sucks that Fisher-Price discontinued the series after just four titles. (We also love their Little People claymation series, now also discontinued.)
This is a totally worthy DVD to get for kids from 9 months to 4 years, as are the other three titles in the series (Musical Baby, Baby's Day and Nature Baby).

Great for watching BUT not to get kids moving like I thought.,
This review is from: Fisher Price - Baby Moves (DVD)
Sure this video is enjoyed by little ones who love to "watch" babies, young children, animals and even puppets move. However, I was hoping it "encouraged" children to move as suggested in its description- The Baby Moves program can help you enhance your child's physical progress and self-discover. It offers a broad range of movement, from reaching, kicking and crawling to dancing and playing. I guess I thought it would say ok everybody stand up, reach up high, now touch your toes, etc.

My son loves these fisher-price videos. The puppets are adorable, the music is catchy and there are plenty of babies in it to watch. What more does a baby enjoy than to watch other babies!?!?
