Baby Einstein is like crack for kids, it makes them comatose! And as
for
parents... well I like to be involved in what my children watch, not
simply
plop them down in front of a TV and walk away! And if I had to listen
to
that horrible B.E. music anymore I would shoot myself! This music is
great
and real! I don't know what the other Moms are talking about, the
images
here are beautiful! It looks like it is actually shot on film not the
cheap
video look of B.E., and I love seeing children doing things instead of
toys,
toys, toys like Baby Einstein. I love these tapes, they leave me and my
children smiling!

We now have all 4 Fisher Price DVDs, and my son loves them all. They are fun, have great music, activities, and my son cannot get his eyes off the screen. He loves when the puppets show up, but also enjoy watching the other babies playing or doing different activities during the day. This DVd starts with babies waking up, and following are other daily activities like play, eat, bath, and finally, bed time. I like to play this DVD to Owen as a part of his bedtime routine.
I highly recommend this video expecially if you are getting tired of the Baby Einstein series. As a plus, there are several playgroup activities for caregivers and babies as an extra feature on the DVD.

These DVDs are excellent. My daughter has loved them since she was 3 months old (she is now 19 months old.) She sings along and dances along with the videos. They are much better than the Baby Einstein videos. I was given a Baby Einstein video as a gift and when my daughter watched it she gave me a look as if to say "what is this junk?" The Baby Einstein video was filled with random shoots of weird things. The Fisher-Price baby development collection has a lot more continuity. It plays more like a story than the Baby Einstein video did. Don't waste your money on the Baby Einstein videos. Just because it has the name Einstein in it doesn't mean anything. I really don't know what all the hype is about. I only wish Fisher-Price would sell stuffed animal versions of the puppets (Ta, De and Ed.) I know my daughter would love them.

This series of baby movies is a God Send!!!! My baby's been watching one a day since he was 2 months old. While I'm cooking dinner I put one of these movies on and put my son in his jumperoo. When the music tempo picks up he gets more excited and starts jumping like a nut. When the puppets come on he sits transfixed until their done. This series blows Baby Einstein out of the water. I'm soooo glad I found it!

I have a 1 and 2 year old daughter I got the series for my oldest when she was a few months old. She absolutely adored it when she would not go to sleep I would wrap her in her blanket put her in the swing and pop in this movie she would smile and coo at all theother babies at only a few months old. At 2 1/s she still lvoes them as does her sister. She goes to the dvd tower and says baby movie mommy please. They really teach them not just babysit as someone before said I know after watching my 2 year olds vocabulary has picked up and she knows animals just by seeing them and she loves to say "pumpkin" after watching nature baby and she knows all the puppets too and yells there names when they come on. I really wish they would make the puppets I would love to get them for my girls or come out with some new videos I appreciate the ones we have but there is only 4 in the series and my kids want to watch them EVERY DAY I know all the songs which isnt bad but could really use a switch.

These videos are amazing! My 3 month old loves them. He sits in his new jumparoo and watches this video so contently. It's amazing. I recommend these to anyone and everyone. These stimulate babies rather than just babysit them.

great time watching it! As a Father I loved that they included Dad's doing
activities with their children throughout the show, and my son loved
watching all the kids doing their daily activities! I am going to get
Musical Baby next weekend!

As the Mom of an 18 month old AND 8 month old triplets, I am always on the look out for DVD's to add to our ever-growing collection....we are big fans of the Baby Einstein DVD's--my older son loved them from 3 months of age--and since we own them all we decided to branch out and try other brands....this DVD is very sweet, the music is soothing, the puppets are entertaining and my kids enjoy all the images of the babies going about their day...we also own Musical Baby in this series and enjoy it as well...both have been very well received in our home and I will definitely purchase more of these in the future.

Although the editorial review says that this video is for babies 6 months to 3 years, the case says 3 months and up. I bought this DVD for my 5 month old daughter and she started crying within 2 minutes! I was VERY disappointed. The first 10 to 15 seconds of the DVD are the puppets, and they quickly caught my daughter's attention. But then the next few minutes (it seems like forever) are scene after endless scene of babies waking up. I'm amazed that the people at Fisher Price could possibly think a baby would find that interesting. So I forwarded the DVD a few times to see if it got any more interesting. Nope. The puppets on the DVD case are rarely seen on the DVD. ??? This is a complete waste of money.

I've tried some of the Baby Einstein videos with my daughter and she really likes them. She loves Baby Beethoven. From beginning to end, she can't take her eyes off the screen when it's on. The puppets are really entertaining and the toys are very interesting. But we wanted to try something new so we bought this video. Even I thought it was boring.

Go with the Baby Einstein videos. They're a little more expensive, but worth the extra money.

***NOTE*** I played this for my daughter again this morning. She was all into it! She watched 17 minutes of it without making a sound. Even when I tried sitting with her to watch it, she looked at me and went right back to the video.

I think this video should be for six months and up (not 3 and up like the package says). At five months my daughter wasn't interested at all. Now, at 6.5 months, she really likes it.
