This was a perfect gift for our 2 year old nephew who's always on the go. He could shake it and chase it for hours. The noises are fun without being overly loud and irritating to the adult ear. It is a lot smaller than we anticipated, but is a great size for little hands. Fun!

These Shake N Go cars were the hit of Christmas around here!! I bought one for my nephew, my friends little boy, and for my neighbors son ~~ and every one of them LOVE them!! They've played w/ them endlessly...and while you DO get sick of hering the cars chatter away, lol, it's so much fun to see them playing!! Great deal, and a great toy!!

We bought this car for our son's first birthday. I know it says 3 and up, but I looked all over for sharp or small removable parts and could not find any. He LOVES it! It didn't take him long to learn that shaking the car makes it go, but for the first few months he would shake it and then just hold it. He's 17 months now and he still loves this car. I love that the voice sounds like the movie actor too. Some of the other Cars shake n go toys we saw in the store didn't sound right, like they used a voice over actor instead of the real actor's voice. That is why we chose the Dinoco Blue McQueen.
GOOD TO KNOW FOR PARENTS: This toy can get a little annoying to hear over and over BUT there is an ON/OFF switch! YAY! I was so pleased to find this! You need a screwdriver to access battery compartment. We noticed it was not going as far when we would shake it, tried fresh batteries and it is good as new.
Durability is good too. 5 months after buying, even after being dropped and "crashed" into walls this thing is still in great shape. I highly recommend. In fact, we loved it so much we bought one for a friend's boy when he turned 2.

It's hard to keep this toy a secret since it's already talking in the box every time you jiggle it. My 2 year grandson loved it.

EXCELLENT CAR. MY SON HAS ALL OF THE CARS OF THIS MCQUEEN SHAKE N GO SERIES. HE LOVES IT AS HIS OTHER CARS TOO. EXCELLENT QUALITY, ARRIVED ON TIME, IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

I bought two of these Shake 'n Go cars for my nephew who is now 3. I have two nephews who both have the shake 'n Go cars & tracks and they both love these toys! I have to admit that I rather enjoy playing with these with them as well. When switched on, these cars have the engine idle sound going, and when you shake them up and set them on the track, the motor revs and they race around. The harder you shake, the longer they go. These CARS characters also say a couple of different lines from the movies, which of course the kids repeat... The Ramone character is my nephew's favorite one. All of this is great fun. Except that the cars seem to have the power switched on, and you cannot reach the switch while it's still in the packaging. So the whole time these toys are being shipped in the UPS truck, they are being shaken up. When they get to your house, they still make noise. When you wrap them up as a Christmas gift, the power is still on because you can't turn it off. When the present is passed to the recipient, it is still shaken enough for the cars to talk through the box, somewhat ruining the surprise... Plus, battery life is just about used up, so get some replacements right away... Interesting that this one was $10 but the Red version of the same car was $25. Laws of supply and demand I guess... Fortunately my nephew didn't care so much...

I was impressed at the power it has. I can zip across the kitchen and even goes on carpet.

My 3 yr old son loves this car. He carries it around with him and calls it Speed (one of the quotes the car says is "Speed, I am speed.")

Basically when I first read about the whole shake-and-go concept I thought it was kinda innovative know how, you shake and it goes (energy comes from universe). But in fact reality turned out to be quite disappointing. As always. This toy requires batteries and once they're drawn it won't move anymore. You will need to replace them.

Otherwise product looks durable, of high quality and overall quite enjoyable.

Luckily we opened this early to test it out as it was supposed to be one of the toys we thought my nephew would love to play with on Christmas day. Welp, it does make a lot of sound, but it doesn't go any where. Just be careful if buying for an event.
