It's so easy for them to use and it became a lovey for my baby boy. I would also chase them through the house and it will repeat the phrase it's on if you shake it fast, making it say, "nom nom nom nom nom" or "hahahahahahaha", and i would pretend the the cookie monster is nomming on their shoulder or bellies. They'd squeal with delight and come back for more. I highly recommend this for hours of fun.

i bought this for my one year old. she loves it. had it for a couple of months now and still laughs everytime he speaks. i think i play with it as much as she does. im about to buy the elmo chatters. so i can double the fun.

My 8 month old got this from his uncle for Christmas. To be honest, I thought it was a ten dollar toy, not 25! It only says something when you shake it about half the time, and most of what it says can't be understood. Of course, cookie monster isn't exactly known for his communication skills...

Anyway, I gave it 3 stars because it's sorta cute, and is small enough for my little guy to hold easily, which is nice.

I bought this toy for my year old girl. Everytime his mouth opens, a new phrase or noise comes out. There are many different sounds, from "cowabunga" and "I love cookies", to laughing sounds and dum-de-dum etc. The rest of my children love it, too. Even my 23 yr. old was charmed by the big blue monster. She requested one for herself!
