I wanted to buy the two tune tv for my grandson as I remembered how much my children enjoyed theirs. This one, which is made in China, is very poor quality. I don't know how long it will last. It skips and struggles just to play the tunes and the picture roll kind of jerks along..... Also, the music box is "plinky" sounding instead of being a lilting melody. It's disappointing and sad that our formerly wonderful products are just not what they used to be.

YES!! I had this toy as a little boy back in the 1970's - 1980's. It was COOL back then. I got rid of it at a community yard sale for pennies on the dollar, and have regretted selling it ever since. Fast forward to the year 2010 and I spotted it on AMAZON.com. YES!! I purchased it for my children and they absolutely love it. It's still a COOL toy today, almost 40 years later. Thank you for a GREAT PRODUCT.

My Mom bought this for my daughter since I had one when I was little. She loves it! It is one of the top five toys my children, 5 and 2, will argue over.

Not only do my children love it, any child who visits loves it. At my son's 5th birthday children kept taking turns holding this toy. Probably the most popular toy in our home, besides the nerf guns:) I think children really respond to the music box sound, most of other toys have digital sounds.

I initially thought I had received a defective product because of the jerks/skipping in notes and crinkled (dipping and loose in certain areas) paper screen but on reading other reviews, I realized that the item is simply a badly produced version of the original :( I bought this TV and the FP record player and this is the first time I have been so severely disappointed in anything from amazon.

Was hoping for a quality made toy like when my kids had them. The one I received has approximately a 1/4 in gap on the roll where the ends meet and while it is playing it is rather jumpy and not smooth rolling like it should be. I bought for my granddaughters first birthday and hope it holds up for her.

Our children had this in the 70's and so we thought it would be a great item for long term use for a Christmas Angel-unfortunately, the paper inside was loose and it was hard to believe that an item so deformed and unuseable would be available. It saddened us to think that FP was no longer what it once was.

I had this TV growing up...and 30+ years later my son gets to play with it. Love it. Love it and its music brings back so many wonderful memories and ina world of flat screen TVs this is a testament that old is still cool!

Had one for children in the 80's. Bought this one for Grandchildren. Original made in Japan, this one in China. Only problem is that it runs far too fast.
