5.0 out of 5 stars The Toy for Holiday 2010
Dance Star Mickey is simply the must own toy for the holiday season in 2010. If you have the money or if you love Mickey Mouse, you will not find a better toy. It's so worth it. The motion is absolutely breath taking. There are six different dances including a cool moonwalk and 2 interactive games called Freeze and Mickey Says. My favorite part: When Mickey talks and...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not that great for toddlers!
We bought a Dance Star Mickey for our one year old and he absolutely loves it! Pushes the button constantly to hear Mickey sing so he can dance. Only problem is that this product is very poorly made! We traded it in for a new one about a week after we got it bc the mouth stopped moving. You also have to change the batteries often and it takes SIX batteries. It has...

5.0 out of 5 stars The Toy for Holiday 2010, November 1, 2010

Dance Star Mickey is simply the must own toy for the holiday season in 2010. If you have the money or if you love Mickey Mouse, you will not find a better toy. It's so worth it. The motion is absolutely breath taking. There are six different dances including a cool moonwalk and 2 interactive games called Freeze and Mickey Says. My favorite part: When Mickey talks and sings his mouth opens and closes with each word. It's completely in-synch. I'm not afraid to admit it but Mickey has cooler moves than me. The folks at Fisher-Price have outdone themselves.

The only problem with it is that it is powered by batteries but these are included. If your Mickey stops in the middle of the song, his batteries probably ran out. I've found to conserve the battery it's best to switch Mickey off with the switch located under his foot when done playing. Also the moonwalk works best on a hard slippery floor. He actually does slide smoothly across the floor thanks to the wheels underneath the toy's feet.

There is no way to describe how amazing this toy is until you see it for yourself. No matter what your age Dance Star Mickey will make you smile. Even after reading how amazing it was, it still blew me away. Very few products do that.

It has recently broken again. This time it just won't even work even with new batteries. Don't know what happened to it. So be careful if you are buying this for a young one. Doesn't really seem worth the price tag if you can't get good use out of it!

I purchased the Fisher-Price Dance Star Mickey a few days ago, and my family has been in love with it ever since. For those on the fence, its better to buy it now, because you probably wont be able to find it once Christmas rush hits. Your kids are guaranteed to love it.

This doll will definitely be a hot seller this year.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Toy Ever, October 21, 2010

My mom got this for my 2 yr old because he started saying "Yay Baby". This mickey says that as well as so much more! It keeps my two kids on their feet dancing for hours a day. We have only had it a couple of weeks but I can tell that we will get lots of enjoyment out of it. I just wish it did the 'hot dog dance' from the show! I also hope that it holds up to my rough children.

Being a Mickey Mouse Collector I could not resist purchasing Dance Star Mickey. I ordered it the first day it was released and got mine for $59.95. The kids are going to love this and being a big kid (let's just say over 21) I was amazed by this toy. Fisher Price got it right again. Parents don't wait too long because this will definitely be the hottest Christmas toy this year.

As a retired educator of preschoolers through school age children, I take great pride in finding just the right toy to purchase for my grandchildren. When I first saw Dance Star Mickey I was indeed excited because of the interactive possibilities for my Mickey Lovin'. granddaughters. I immediately began exploring and researching all the educational elements that Dance Star Mickey possessed. He was most definetly motor driven, in that he just begged for imitation and mimicing. In otherwords, he spoke to little ones and they just had to dance with him. He is so life-like and full of personality. I was so amazed at his dance moves and the clearness of his voice when he sang. We have purchased two. They have received major rough treatment, only to keep right on performing and entertaining. Dance Star Mickey has been the gift that still has the STARRING role in our family!
