Though this was recommended for ages 3+, our 19 month old loves it. She loves to doodles on it, has figured out how to clear the "slate" and can spend quite a bit of time on it before getting bored and moving on. It is also a great way for me to show her how to draw shapes.

This isn't the best one out there. It doesn't come with the magnetic shapes that I've seen others come with. These not only add to the fun but are easier for younger kids to use then the pen. Also, perhaps it was just mine but there it a small section that doesn't seem to work (no magnetic particles stick to it) and a few places where the magnetic particles don't get erased. I would have expected better quality control from Fisher Price.

I bought this for my wife who is severely hearing-impaired. We use the "magic tablet" for communicating -- writing short messages and passing it back and forth. We find the device to be well designed and ruggedly built. It serves the purpose for which we purchased it -- and it is far more durable than the non-magnetic magic slates we used as children. The only disadvantage for adults is that the tablet will not record small characters, so lettering must be large, limiting the length of the message

So far, I've taken it apart 3 times. 1st time I used glue, then scotch tape, and now duct tape. The thin magnet that is used to erase the board keeps falling off. It doesn't appear to be secured w/ anything. I really like the idea and drawing technology, but the the overall quality needs some serious improvements.

I had no idea this Doodle Pro would be so large. It's a great size, especially for toddlers who love to draw. This product is awesome. It has been a favorite toy since Christmas, even my husband loves to draw on it. This toy is a nice way to distract little children from drawing on everything in the house. Not, only is the size super, but it's very light too. This would make a great gift for any toddler/young child.

I bought this for my two year old to play with, and my 5 year old loves it too! Has held up great to playing, erases well, and seems durable. Overall we're happy with it.

I bought this for my 20 month old daughter for Christmas. I wish I had bought 2 because both of my daughters love it and it entertains them for a long time. I had been buying the little cheap ones, so I was very happy with how durable this one is. My children both stand on it and have thrown it across the room and otherwise abuse it. Other than the expected scratches on the board, it is still in great shape.

We bought this for our 2 year old daughter a year and a half ago and she still plays with it all the time. A simple but awesome toy!

I would recommend another one: "Fisher Price Ni Hao Kai-Lan Kid Tough Doodler
". I bought two different doodles, one for my place another for grandmom's place. Although my daughter loves both of them,the one I recomend made with much better quality.
