My 16 month old loves to draw, but eats the crayons and isn't always great about staying on the paper. I saw the bigger version of this at a friend's and thought it would be a great idea. It's worked out great. She loves to draw with it, there's no mess and you can always keep track of the pen. It's maybe a little small for home, but it's still OK and it's great to take with us when we go out.

My kiddos are 2 yrs (twins). Its a perfect size for their little hands and aside from creativity, it helps with dexterity and coordination. The education aspect of it was a surprise... as I use it to draw images for them (like shapes & animals) and they take much more interest than if I were just showing them pictures in a book. They love to take the pen and try and mock my lines. They also love hearing explanations about the things that Ive drawn. So... great, durable toy. Ill buy the larger version when their hands grow-up.

Easy for my two year old to carry around and also very easy for him to use. He's dropped it several times and it hasn't been hurt. The scroll eraser moves easily. I would recommend this toy.

My almost two-year old loves this toy. It's exactly the same as the Magnadoodle I remember growing up. For a small child, this travel size is perfect for use at home and in the car. We primarily use it for drawing simple pictures and shapes - I will draw a picture (flower, heart, happy face, sad face, tree, cat, bird, dinosaur, etc.) and she will guess what it is. She could play this game for hours. This toy can also keep her entertained by herself as she can draw and erase without any adult help.

I was glad to find this simple toy at Amazon because I had trouble finding one like this at my local big box stores - all their versions had either a giant character on it (Elmo, Thomas, Toy Story, etc.) or a light attached (she's too young).

My 2-year old daughter loves to draw. Taking dry erase boards or coloring books everywhere is not an option though. She draws on everything! So I bought this. It's the perfect size for traveling. It's light weight, easy to erase (some others take an adult to strong arm the lever to erase the board), and no mess!! What a lifesaver at restaurants, in church, at the doctor, you name it! Love it!!!!!

I bought four of these, and they have all lasted a very long time.

My kids have stepped on them, one has been dropped from the top of a 20ft concrete set of stairs. They have all been dropped several times by the kids. Mostly on purpose, too. They are very durable, and I recommend these to all parents :)

They are light weight, and easy to use. The magnetic tip pen works very well and the cord is just the right length. I take it with me to doctor appointments, ER visits, trips to the grocery store, car rides... you name it, I take it.

My kids love the magnetic doodle pads, and this one is wonderful!! It is great that it comes with a handle so my kids can carry it with them when we are on the go.

Had to buy this when my 20 month old daughter got a hold of her cousin's and really wanted to keep it. This has saved me alot of paper and alot of worry about crayon marks where they shouldn't be. Also a good toy for the car. The toy works exactly how you would expect - draw on it with the magnetic pen and erase with the little slider thingy. Lots of fun.

This has been one of the kids' favorite toys. I am a graphic artist and grew up drawing so I am thrilled that they like drawing too. This is nice because it is simple to use and it is neat and clean unlike markers or crayons. It also works well as a teaching tool for drawing things for them to identify. Great product.

This Doodle Pro is great. My daughter actually has 2 of them and we haven't had any issues with them. They are great for traveling, but a little on the small side if you plan to use at home. If I was purchasing another, I would get the full-size one with magnets.
