My toddler LOVES this potty chair. she actually will stop the flow, and empty the bowl herself, put it back together and sit down and finish just so she can hear the music play again. Doesn't even ask for her stickers after doing the deed, listening to the fun music is reward in itself plus the positive feedback from Mommy.
The chair is sturdy and does not slip on our tile floors (we've packed it up to carry to friends houses), easy to clean and I like the versatility (can take off the ring and place on an adult size toilet, take off the deflector shield and can fold down the back and use as a step stool).
My only issues are: 1) that it is easy to clean except for 2 small areas if urine is spilled into the base when removing the bowl -- you need to use a thin towel, toothbrush, q-tip or just rinse and empty to clean. 2)to remove the ring you lift it straight up - which is no problem but at first my toddler wanted to push it up like it was a real hinged toilet seat which impedes the removal of the urine bowl and can result in spills - but only the first few times and now my toddler knows to lift straight off. 3) you need to dry the bowl after each use so that drops don't puddle in the bottom causing the music to go off when it's not in use and so that when it does get used the music will play at the appropriate time.

This potty is more of a toy to my son. There are way too many pieces to deal with, and the splash guard is horrible. Every time he sits down on the potty he knocks the splash guard out of place & it hurts him. I would not recommended this potty. We ended up with the $12.99 Fisher-Price Frog potty. The splash guard is built in to the seat, and it's all just one piece. Way less mess and my son loves it! He's not even two yet and he's already potty trained!

We absolutely love this potty! I bought it because my 21-month-old daughter loves ducks, but hated sitting on the big potty. I thought she might be more motivated to sit on a ducky potty, and she was. I also thought she might like that it sings a song when she goes. Turns out she doesn't really care, but I never thought about how helpful it is for me because I can tell when she's actually gone. Then I can praise her as she's going, which is much more helpful reinforcement than when she finally gets up and I realize she went 5 minutes ago. I also really appreciate that the hole in the seat is smaller. I think that's partly why she prefers this potty to the big potty or her Baby Bjorn Little Potty. Her little bottom doesn't slide right through the opening. In light of that, this probably isn't the best choice for older or larger children. At 26 lbs, this is perfect. It would probably be too small for a 3 or 4-year-old.

I do find the sensors to be quite sensitive. If you don't clean out the potty pretty quickly, it will periodically keep singing until you do. To me, that just means I won't forget to clean it, so it's not a negative. It has occasionally gone off when my daughter hasn't actually gone, and I'm not sure why. Humidity, maybe? It has never gone off when she wasn't sitting on it, though. This isn't a big deal to me either, but it's worth mentioning. Overall, I'm incredibly pleased with this potty. It turned the corner for us in the potty training process.

My son likes it because he likes ducks. It feels sturdy (We've just used it as a floor potty, can't comment on the toilet seat adapter, or as a stool) What creeps me out is that the song that is supposed to play when your child does his business comes on at the most random time. Middle of the night even. You don't even have to pee or poo in it. Just kick it the right way, or if your child just plops his butt on it, it will trigger the song.

Great sturdy potty. This is a nice simple, yet cute, potty. My daughter likes it. It is pretty simple and straight forward and doesn't have a whole lot to be distracted by. I do like that it turns into a step stool when she isn't using it. I also like tr fact that the pee gaurd snaps off so my little girl doesn't have to have that in her way. Great cost for product.

We bought this potty chair for our 2 year-old son and have since replaced it with a different potty chair. The issue for us is that the pee-pee guard does not stay up and my son is always playing with it and removing it from the potty chair. It detaches from the chair easily which has resulted in my son peeing on the floor many times. When sitting on the potty my son often plays with the pee-pee guard and it has pinched his legs more than once. My other issue is that after my son pees in the potty the seat continues to play music. It often takes a while for him to poop in the potty and the song just goes on and on. I have turned off the music as I find it more of a distraction than anything. I replaced this potty chair with a $12 chair with a built in pee-pee guard that is not movable or detachable. It is working much better for us.

My kid pees and poops in this thing.

Things to like: There is some music played when the kid goes. It's nice for two reasons: (i) the kid gets to have some fun and (ii) you know that they went which is great since it's a bit hard with the orange color to see if the kid went pee. It's also easy to get the bowl out of the duck so you can go dump it in the human sized crapper.

Bummers: the sound went off on this thing at like midnight one night. Scared the crap out of me! Sounded like a killer clown had broke into the house and was going to kill me. So the sound has been shut off since then. I wish that the switch for the music was in a more friendly position; it's on the bottom which means it's not the most accessible. Since our kid doesn't really need the audible feedback anymore it's been off for a while now. I have to say that I am missing the music a bit, pretty catchy.
