My son absolutely loves this toy! We bought it for him for his first birthday and it is by far his favorite. The only problem the I've had with it is

1-the top firetruck had a hole in it upon arrival. I didn't bother to send it back, the pit was what we really wanted and that was perfectly fine

2-the top part of the firetruck is attached with Velcro. It doesn't stay on at all. He uses it as a fort so at least he gets use out it.

Other than that I have no complaints. He is completely happy with it so I suppose I shouldn't complain at all.

We purchased this for our son's first birthday and it was a major hit...that was the high point! We too bought extra balls and that added to my son's enjoyment.

About a month after we bought it, we noticed that it started to lose air. We were able to re-inflate it some. The hole is unrepairable... we have tried to patch it with a number of patches, we tried rubber cement. The hole just keeps advancing along the seam of the base of the fire truck. This is really frustrating because my son still loves to play in his ball pit. However, we are now past the point of return and are faced with having to purchase another ball pit. You can guarantee that it will not be this brand!

This is a fun ball pit. It is a little smaller than I expected, but fits two 14 mos. old twins well. I have it upstairs in a play area and is a perfect size for that area.

The top comes off pretty easily, but they enjoy taking it off the velcro and putting it back on, plus crawling in and out on the windows.

They are only 14 mos so not super rough & tumble, but it has held up to them crawling in and out - and a couple of older kids playing in it too.

You must buy extra balls. I got a pack of 100 and fills it up well. You could go more, but then you'd be picking up balls from all over your house.

We purchased the Fire Truck Play Center for my son's first birthday and he was so excited! I'd suggest getting another bag of balls if you want to really make it look like a "ball pit". I purchased a 100ct bag from Amazon and it worked perfectly. I was having a terrible time getting my son to sleep in his bed, and was shocked to find him sound asleep in his fire truck. So I put 2 blankets in the bottom, put his pillow and blankie in there, and that is where he slept for 6 months. :) He LOVES the firetruck!!! VERY durable!! (Especially to end up becoming a makeshift bed for a toddler :) )

Nice truck bigger than expected. And durable the plastics very strong take a good beating from your toddlers without busting. My baby now store his Toys in it after playing still no holes in truck.

we use this for daycare, it cannot handle more the 2 children at a time,with a small group you would be fine or even one child

I bought this for my son for Christmas when he was almost 1, we blew it up the first time and it was flat about 5 hours later :( I was lazy and kept it because my son loved it so much, I would just blow it up every time he wanted to play with it. To this day (he is almost 2 1/2 he still loves it. I do suggest buying another pack of balls to play with it, 25 balls are definately not enough. I expected a little better quality from Fisher Price but I guess you can't always win.

This was purchased for our 5th daughter for Christmas this year - she is almost 2. She loves the "bouncy balls" and has enjoyed climbing in and out over and over again. The cab of the fire engine velcros and doesn't hold up to the in and out as well as we would like. For our daughter, she loves to climb through the windows and it really isn't manufactured well enough for that type of play. The cab doesn't stay velcroed very long before we have to reattach it.

For the value, it is okay - not the best, but by far not the worst purchase we have made. It entertains her for a pretty good period of time and she is still enjoying it a month after Christmas. We did buy an additional 100 balls - AN ABSOLUTE MUST if you make the purchase. The 25 balls that come with it are slightly smaller than the 100 extra we purchased, but they don't even cover a small part of the pit area. If we had not purchased the extra balls it would have been a huge problem and disappointment for the 22 month old.

Overall it is an okay purchase.
