Fisher Price Fire Truck Ride On

My daughter is 10 mo. old, but we wanted to get this for her first Christmas, because my husband is a firefighter/paramedic. She likes it very much. Her feet barely brush the floor, so we are right next to her when she is on it and/or we push her around. The song is cute and the "people" in the front move when the song is played and the lights go on and off. This toy always makes my daughter smile. The seat also opens to reveal a hidden compartment, which she has just discovered. We all enjoy this toy.

My 16 month old son loves this toy. He began just pushing it around the house and now loves riding it. If there is one area where an improvement could be made it is to lengthen the short push handle. My back isnt as good as it once was and to push a child in it requires large doses of bending over. It could be viewed as good exercise by some!

Nice job with this toy. Don't hesitate to buy it as its a great entertainer for children under 2.

WE SENT THE FISHER PRICE LITTLE PEOPLE FIRE TRUCK RIDE ON TO OUR GRANDSON FOR HIS FIRST BIRTHDAY. HE LOVED PUSHING IT AROUND FROM THE START. HIS 2 YEAR-OLD BROTHER LIKES RIDING ON IT...AS SOON AS HE SAW THE TRUCK HE RAN TO FIND HIS LITTLE FIRE FIGHTER'S HAT! THIS IS A TOY THE BOYS WILL ENJOY FOR A LONG TIME...THANKS AGAIN FISHER PRICE FROM A HAPPY "NANNY"

You may bore from the music, but the kids won't. (Volume adjustable.) Great for new walkers through 3 or 4. Lift up seat for hiding things - which is really not a great idea for pre-year olds as they might catch a finger. Sturdy. Would buy again.

My son is 10-month old and has been learning to walk (holding on to our hands). We read about negative things about walkers, so we wanted to get something he can hold on to while walking, but not a traditional walker. We saw this fire truck in the store, and showed it to my son. He immediately grabbed the little firemen at the front, and did not want to let go. So we bought it. As soon as we got home and let him try, he LOVES it. He pushed it around back and forth and had so much fun. When we took him to drive the fire truck at the play ground, all the other kids saw it and wanted to ride on it also.

The things I like about it,
- The music is cute and there's a switch to adjust the volume or turn it off
- It's more stable than some of the other ride-ons or walkers
- The baby can push the truck from the back or ride on it. Both work well.
- It seems to entertain a wide age group, from babies who are just learning to walk to 2-3 year olds at the play ground

This fire truck has lasted for a long time, being ridden and played with by a (now) 2 year old. He is enchanted with the sounds. Good toy!

This has been a fun toy for my grandchildren. It is quite sturdy, started out with lots of lights and sounds, but after being doused with a lot of summer water, the sound disappeared. It has a great little compartment under the seat for them to put their "treasures" and I have sometimes found things there that had been "lost". I thought it was a little overpriced by the time I paid shipping, but it's now being used by a second child, so that makes it more worthwhile. I like the rear handle so we can push the little one around. It has kept it's color and it's a great size for age 1 thru 3 1/2 or so.

We gave this to my daughter shortly after she turned one. She's played with it alot. We've now had it for about a year and a half, and it's completely stayed together, the only thing is that the song has quieted down some but you can still hear it, and I think that when you put new batteries in it it gets louder again (but not too loud, it's a good volume). During the past year and a half that we've owned it, we've only had to replace the batteries once, which is really good. The song that it plays is fun and my daughter still plays with it. She also enjoys storing small things inside the seat compartment. Great toy. We pushed her around the house on it alot when she was younger, fun for all of us (good exercise too for the parent!) ;)

My 11 month old son loves this fire truck! It's very durable, thank goodness, since my son is pretty hard on toys. I'm surprised this one has lasted.

I purchased this fire truck for my one year old grandson, to say he loves it would be an understatement! What a super toy for the little ones to ride and learn with, thanks Fisher Price!
