My 3-month-old seems to really like this mobile. The smart response helps him fall back asleep when he wakes up in the middle of the night. Be careful with the settings! I had thought it had broken in just a few weeks of use but it was just that the batteries has worn down because we had it on the most sensitive setting. The smart response was turning on too much...

We bought this for christmas. My husband set it up and we he tested it out, he couldn't get the auto response to work. Then the mobile stopped turning after 2 days. The only thing left was the music. We returned it. Of course the price of the mobile has doubled since purchasing it around christmas time and Amazon would not do an exchange. Not worth purchasing again at...

My 3-month-old seems to really like this mobile. The smart response helps him fall back asleep when he wakes up in the middle of the night. Be careful with the settings! I had thought it had broken in just a few weeks of use but it was just that the batteries has worn down because we had it on the most sensitive setting. The smart response was turning on too much. We've since adjusted the setting and the mobile only turns on when we really need it to (when the baby is actually crying, not just cooing).

I searched for a colorful mobile with the characters that face downward so my baby could see them! It annoys me how most mobiles are made for babies, yet the mobile characters face outward for the parents to see. This was perfect...and I love the classical music played. Quality of sound is good. There are two volume controls which I like. Also, there is a sound activated feature so that when your baby cries for more than 8 seconds, the mobile turns on. Not too effective on my young baby, but I could see where that feature might calm an older baby who cries. My baby loves the mobile and smiles at the creatures as they move around. Very easy to set up. Would definitely recommend. The only thing better would be to have it remote controlled, which lost it one star. Still a great item!

This is the 2nd mobile we purchased. The first was one that matched our decor, but was cheaply made and cost the same amount as this one. Once we purchased this mobile it was perfect. The voice activation works like a charm to calm our little one and allow him to fall back asleep without us coming to the rescue. The animals point down so that the baby sees them unlike many decorater mobiles that point up...hello, the baby can't see them that way!

Also, it is nice to have 3 different music choices and a night light.

We got this as a gift last year for our then 3 month old at Christmas. We loved it as a mobile, but when she started sitting up we've been using it with the mobile off just for the music. Now she is one and I've noticed that if I don't turn on the music sometimes she does it herself! The buttons are easy for her to push and very colorful. She even taught me that if you press the same button again the music goes off! That may have been in the directions but I didn't read them. I think we've changed the batteries out twice in the last 10 months so that's not too bad considering the music plays one round almost every night.

I bought this as a gift and have heard nothing but raves about it. I was a little worried it might be too complicated, but apparently it is absolute perfection according to baby and Mom alike. At first I tried to match decor, but all the mobiles that matched just looked tacky to me. This matches anywhere, is Fisher Price, so I knew it was good quality, and it has everything the new mother who received it wanted.

This mobile is very easy to assemble and fits most any crib. A plus since most other mobiles wouldn't fit our "crib for life". The colorful animals and music keep my little one entertained. The only down side is the "smart response" doesn't seem too smart. I have yet to have it work. And I've stood by the crib while my little one cries pretty hard for at least 8 seconds and it doesn't come on. He seems to enjoy it plenty without that feature, so overall I'm happy with my purchase.

mobile works with sleigh crib, which was hard to find. three options of music - good. colorful, there's a light, good sound (on quiet setting cannot be heard over humidifier). my husband has never seen it respond to her crying and ive only seen it respond once - but maybe thats bc we respond quicker that the mobile. pros: can be mounted universally, easy assembly, reasonably priced cons: response working

This product was a waste of my time and money. I would advise everyone to check the package to ensure all the parts are there. The package I received came with only half of the attachment required to secure the the mobile to the crib (i.e. half the harness). Furthermore even though I put the setting on rotate the product seems to be defective because it WILL not rotate. Total disappointment for a product that costs so much money!!!
