I bought this toy for my 15-month-old and he enjoys it. The problem is that he figured out how to take off the safety belt in two seconds. (It is made of velcro.) While I was taking him for a ride, he quickly ripped the belt off and stood up. He fell over onto the sidewalk. A belt with a clasp would be better. I know the car goes only 2 mph, but it is faster than you realize. Some improvements are needed.

My 12 month old daughter loves to cruise the neighborhood. The first day she got it another little girl had to try it out. We love to cruise around. The waist strap is velco. It would be great if it was a buckle other than that great fun toy

My son and I absolutely love this car. He was so excited when he first got into it (he's 1). There are only two problems with it though- there is no on/off switch, so even when he's not in it he can press the button and make it go. Well that's not good because he rolled over his feet once and the second time he was leaning against it and pressed the button and it dragged him and caused him to fall. The other thing also is that the sides aren't high enough so he sticks his feet out of the sides. Also, if your child is tall (mine is 31 inches) they may not fit comfortable in the car.

We have this car for my Grandson who is 1 yr old. He has so much fun with it, we have a hard time getting him to get off. He learned how to make it move very quickly. The wheels could be alittle more heavy duty for driving in the grass and on gravel.I think the size of the car is more suited for 1 to a small 2 year old. 3 year olds would be to big to sit in the seat, unless they are unually small for their age.

I gave this car to my grandson for his 1st birthday and he loves it. He doesn't know how to steer it yet but when we take him out in it he does'nt want to get out of the car. He just wants to keep riding and riding. The only problem we had with it was putting the steering wheel on, it was really difficult.I even called the company to make sure we were doing it right and not going to break the car by forcing it on. Anyway my grandson love his red rocket and its a great buy.

I just love the this car. My husband and I purchased this for our daughter for her first birthday. It was a total hit! She loves it. It took her a week or so to figure out how to make it go herself. But now, look out, she is everywhere. She drives it all over the house and outside. It goes well on the pavement and also goes really well in the grass. She doesn't quite know how to turn the steering wheel yet so we have to stay pretty close! The only negative thing I would say about this car is that I wish it had a on/off button, that way the kids could play in it without it rolling. Also, my daughter pushes the button before she is even secured in the seat and that makes me a little nervous. But besides that we love it and feel it is worth every penny. It is very durable, I know becuse it has hit almost every wall in my house and every door. But "kudos" to FisherPrice for a great car!

My son cruised around wal mart for about an hour in the tot rod before I actually decided to buy it for him for his birthday. He just turned 1 and absolutely loves it! I have to pry him out of it. He's the envy of all the neighborhood kids!!

Very awesome product for my 1-year old. The back parental handle with the additional power button makes this very easy to use and my son enjoys it so much even if he isn't 100% yet with driving it himself. It allows them to learn. The product seems very durable and indestructable. I've only had one negative thng and that was the condition the box came in after shipping. The packaging from the manufacturer could have been better. The car ended up having some scratches due to shipping but most ended up being covered by the included decals ! With that one exception I am very happy with this product !

I love this toy for my daughter. We bought it for her first birthday and she loves it. The only bad thing is the safety strap needs to be redesigned. She figured out how to take it off in point two. Other than that this toy is great.....

This is a great toy! My 17 mo. old loves it! I called Fisher Price and they said not to push the car from the tot rod unless you are pushing the power button. Failure to do so can result in gear axil failure. Great to know. Buy this one! There are other Power Wheel Tot Rods without the parent assist button that are cheeper, but they are not intended to be pushed from the tot rod, just steered.
