I purchased this to go along with a Cars 2 Geotrax race car set. Doc is one of his favorite characters and he just loves racing him with his other remote control cars that go with the race set. Very easy to use for small hands.

This guy is fast...way faster than the old GeoTrax but when we play with Geotrax with all of the sets collected over the years with four boys he is never their first choice. The boys have had him for about 8 months now and even when this guy was brand new (even with Fisher-Price GeoTrax CARS Lightning McQueen Turbo RC and Fisher-Price Geotrax Cars Turbo Mater Rc these were picked after as well) he was picked as one of the last choices because he didn't have a hook and didn't carry things!

So, pros, he is fast! He looks cool that is why we thought the boys (6,4,2 and baby) would love him but they really don't unless nothing else is working and Mom doesn't want to replace batteries yet then they'll choose him. Oh well!

My nephew is a huge a fan of the Cars movie. He got this same style remote control car for almost every character. Two weeks after christmas though, the DOC car stopped working. The batteries were brand new, everything was switched to on, but the car wouldn't move. Could just be that we got the one faulty toy car. The other cars all work perfectly.

Although the toy has brought great pleasure to my grandson and family, it uses an excessive number of batteries.

I bought this toy becuase of the theme, CARS, and becuase I read good reviews of GeoTrax from Fisher Price. I was impressed how sturdy the toy is, and how well my two grandchildren can work it! The children are 2 and 4.

Having raised two boys, race sets of the past were very tempermental. The GeoTrax are sturdy (you can put the trax together and pick the whole thing up without it falling apart. Now, for small children it would be difficult to BUILD the track, but once set up for them they can play for days without track trouble.

The cars are remarkable - they will run on the track or floor, so if the car comes off the track, it keeps going. I also noted that even if the car was not quite perfectly placed on the track, it would generally straighten up on the track by itself. the kids were pushing 3 and 4 cars along the track with the one remote control car. I bought the mega set, plus one more RC set and another track set. This allowed for each child to have an RC car that goes forward and backwards with a very easy RC controller. The RC is very easy and moves with the kids. The batteries last well too, and I bought rechargeables so Mom doesn't have to keep buying batteries. We are looking for more track sets to make the track bigger.

The cars set does not have the same trax as the train set - I don't know why they didn't make these compatable.

Got this one for my son's friend for christmas. As are the others, it's a nice, sturdy build, solid enough for kids who are a little rough with things.

I want to thank Discount Toys for the amazing act of kindness & customer service I received from them. I was thinking of canceling my order, because a review that I had read. I had questioned the quality & service of the company, but nothing could be farther from the truth. An employee responded to me concerns & responded by going above & beyond what I call customer service. I have dealt with the public for 30 years & what he did actually restored my faith in the world. You see, my grandson was coming for Christmas, because his dad just left for Afghanistan. I had ordered something that I thought would be here in time for Christmas. After reading the reviews, I had second thoughts. This employee assured me that my order would be here in time & gave me a full refund. Now, I only bought me grandson a few toys this year, because I lost my job this last summer. The employee did not know this, but his generosity & caring showed me that there are people & companies out there that care about the world. I will let my grandson know exactly what this person did for us, because of what his dad has done for this country. This will reaffirm what his parents are trying to teach their 3 yr. old, which is that people should help out their fellow man. This company exemplifies this attitude. Thank you again from my grandson & me.
