There is only one problem, the bridge doesn't always lock in place, and can be frustrating to a child or even an adult.

This Geo Trax set is a nice set to start with or add onto your existing Geo Trax sets. The main focus is on the exploding bridge, which is a nice change to most of the Geo Trax bridges. There is only one problem, the bridge doesn't always lock in place, and can be frustrating to a child or even an adult. When it does lock in place it works great, but my now 6yr old boy has already had some frustrating moments. He's been playing with his Geo trax sets since his first set when he was 2yrs old. Luckily, at least he has a little more patient to deal with a less than par train set. Another problem I've noticed on this website is the price, marked at over $100, when you can easily get this for less than fifty at your big franchised Toy store. If this is a must to get on your list, shop around first, and remember the child tolerance level with toys.

We love Team GeoTrax, but this set is not a good design. The tracks on the bridge don't line up well so the train derails most of the time. Woody and Bullseye are too tall to fit under the other Geotrax stuff like Grand Central station. Additionally, the layout of this set makes it difficult to incorporate into regular Geotrax layouts. This bridge is a different height so you can't use it with regular Geotrax ramps so it is stuck in the mostly figure 8 design. The train is just Steamer relabeled for TS3 so it has the same pusher engine problems. (The gear that grips the track is on the second car so it pushes the engine and doesn't navigate switch tracks as well as the cars with the gear on the engine itself like Aero.) We are returning this item tomorrow.

This was a birthday present for my five year old grandson and he and his little 2 year old brother love this toy! It is so easy to assemble because of the great design and excellent quality. In fact, it was so easy to put together, the five year old helped! Bargainmind Products has great customer service, delivering on time and with helpful email notification.

Everyone is saying this toy is flimsy and not durable. However my wife was able to carry it down a flight of stairs while it was fully put together, track only not on a board. It did not fall apart once and has not fallen apart since it was put together. The bridge works great so I can only assume the people that are saying it is cheap, did not look at the directions to understand how it works. We added it to our other Geo Trax set and now have a huge track and works great that was as well.

Bought this for a friend's 3 year old son who is obsessed with all things Toy Story. He LOVES it. This is by far his favorite toy. The bridge can be a little tricky, and he usually needs some help getting it setup again after it explodes.

WARNING - If you've never bought GeoTrax before, be warned! They are extremely addictive. You'll be scouring garage sales and Craig's list seeking more tracks (and they take up a LOT of space, so they're pretty easy to find second hand). You'll stay up long after your child's bedtime building hugely complicated sets of tracks. You'll need to buy a bigger house to accommodate it all.

I saw other reviews about the bridge not staying closed and I was worried about purchasing it but my son has had no problems with the bridge. It works perfectly, holds the weight of the train as it crosses and opens easily when he wants it to. My almost 4 year old can easily snap it back together when he takes it apart and can change the pieces around without help. It is very durable and can withstand a boy who loves to throw it across the room. We have another GeoTrax train set and the pieces all can be interchanged without a problem. I highly recommend this system for boys who are rough with their toys.

The Bridge to this set does not even work... it collapses and does not stay up at all. called customer service though and they are sending a new bridge so overall the customer service is better than the actual toy. so make sure if u are having problems call customer service and complain like me.

1. The train is needlessly loud. My kids have some loud toys but this one bugs me more. If someone in another room is talking to you...you won't be able to hear them.
2. Poor Design: The makers decided to put the engine of the train as the middle car instead of as the first car in the train. This requires your child to constantly correct the train as it goes around the track. Since, the first car is light it is often pushed off the track by the driving car...then the whole train is off the track.
