5.0 out of 5 stars Fly By Bridge
This is one of the newest GeoTrax kits offered by Fisher Price. The blue GeoAir track seems to be durable and we have not had any problems. It is too bad that this kit doesn't come with an airplane (you have to buy airplane separately).

2.0 out of 5 stars only works with more airplane track
Overall, the Geotrax toy line is great. However, this product is seriously flawwed. When put together according to the instructions, the plane gets stuck in not one but two places. This is due to the bend in the track. This cannot be corrected without adding more track which will ease the bends.

Overall, the Geotrax toy line is great. However, this product is seriously flawwed. When put together according to the instructions, the plane gets stuck in not one but two places. This is due to the bend in the track. This cannot be corrected without adding more track which will ease the bends.
The other reviews are a little one sided. One reviewer purchased all three plane sets together and so had plenty of track. Another gave it 5 stars without even having seen it together.
My recommendation for this product is to only buy it if you are going to buy one of the other airplane tracks too. Otherwise, it will be wasted money.

I also will be returning this toy. I was disappointed immediately when I placed the airplane on the track. It would fly smoothly under the bridge, but when it reached a turn it would get stuck and made a terribly annoying clicking noise. There were 3 spots on the track where it would get stuck.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fly By Bridge, December 26, 2008
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars
This is one of the newest GeoTrax kits offered by Fisher Price. The blue GeoAir track seems to be durable and we have not had any problems. It is too bad that this kit doesn't come with an airplane (you have to buy airplane separately).

One disadvantage is that the pillars that the bridge sits on have a keying mechanism that prevents using standard stanchion pillars (from Elevation Track Pack kits). Using stanchion pillars would allow the bridge to be raised two or three levels above ground level (bridge usually sits one level above ground level). Also the base of the Fly By Bridge pillars have a large footprint, so it reduces the possibilities of track placement beneath the bridge. Still, this kit is a fun one and a great addition to the GeoTrax product family.

If you want or need track layout ideas, there are four track layout manuals on eBay. The newest one (volume 7) uses the Fly By Bridge, and all ten layouts fit on the KidKraft train table (48" x 33" inner dimensions). You can find the manuals by searching on eBay for "geotrax track layout manual".

This toy does not work. The bends on the inside of the loop are too sharp and the airplane - sold seperately - stands still and clicks until it is manually pushed around. No fun at all. A big expensive dissapointment.

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible value, doesn't include pieces on the picture, December 26, 2009

As with most GeoTrax sets, we soon found that they do NOT include the main pieces needed. Beware! You are provided with the plane track, however no plane. So, essentially you are forced to go out and buy the plane on top of this set. By the time you add all of this up, you are better off going with legos or some other toy with more value.

I want to echo what the other negative reviews said, after taking a long time to set this up we were excited to see it go. No sooner than it got to the top it stalled and started making that horrible clicking noise. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone. A total waste of time.

2.0 out of 5 stars love Geotrax-but not this one, January 5, 2009
= Durability:2.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
I truly wish we could dump all my kid's toys and they could just play with one: the geotrax. I love that you can add to it, I don't have many other things for my kids that you can add to that make them as excited! We love putting the train sets together and moving the bridges, etc.
HOWEVER, I was very dsappointed with the functionality of this one. It looks cool, but the plane does not stay on the loop-de-loop no matter how you position it. So you have to manually move the plane when it gets stuck (constantly..)ANd you have to buy the plane seperately with the remote, which I thought was sort of lame because what good is the set without that? All in all great idea but design is not up to the usual standards.

1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS TOY., May 2, 2010

This review is from: Fisher-Price GeoTrax Rail and Road System Fly-By Bridge with GeoAir Expansion Track (Toy)
Please don't waste your money. First of all, the airplane is not included in this large package. Fisherprice could've included it in the package, but decided not to, which makes it really hard for people like me that drove a long way to the nearest toys r us. we had to order the plane online and pay for shipping. So my son had to wait another month after his Birthday to play with this toy! But that isn't even the biggest issue. We are GeoTrax experts. We've been collecting for years and have a Huge set! This is our first airplane trax set. The biggest fopaw is the track pieces. If you set it up exactly like the pic on the box, the plane WILL NOT FLY. It will not go on twists. Track has to be completely flat, so the pic is misleading. So, when we snapped the air track together and learned of this, we tried to take the track apart to undo the twist we had created. It would not come apart. I searched the directions and online for any clue how to get the blue airtrack apart. A couple BAD customer reviews said to use pliers or other tools around the house... so we did. I sliced my finger open really bad. even with me and my husband, using pliers and pulling with force, they did not come apart. After my first-aid and frustration, my only goal was to pull the track pieces apart, not caring if they broke. At this point, I am asking fisherprice to replace the whole toy (minus the plane that works fine)!! Geotrax is great, but these airplane sets are not!! I'm bleeding and frustrated that Fisherprice was misleading on tne box in several areas. A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY! Here we are 6 weeks after the purchase and still cannot see the airplane ride around... and I'm out [...] bucks.

My grandsons love this toy. Their ages are 6 and 4. They can connect it to other parts of their GeoTrax and have the trains going and the airplanes flying all at one time. It's great fun and they have developed some very creative layouts.

The bridge is much bigger than I thought it would be: and it can connect to other tracks in four places. My only complaint is that the airplanes don't go as fast as I would like, but it is still a great toy and high quality like the past Geotrax.
