I bought this toy becuase of the theme, CARS, and becuase I read good reviews of GeoTrax from Fisher Price. I was impressed how sturdy the toy is, and how well my two grandchildren can work it! The children are 2 and 4.

Having raised two boys, race sets of the past were very tempermental. The GeoTrax are sturdy (you can put the trax together and pick the whole thing up without it falling apart. Now, for small children it would be difficult to BUILD the track, but once set up for them they can play for days without track trouble.

The cars are remarkable - they will run on the track or floor, so if the car comes off the track, it keeps going. I also noted that even if the car was not quite perfectly placed on the track, it would generally straighten up on the track by itself. the kids were pushing 3 and 4 cars along the track with the one remote control car. I bought the mega set, plus one more RC set and another track set. This allowed for each child to have an RC car that goes forward and backwards with a very easy RC controller. The RC is very easy and moves with the kids. The batteries last well too, and I bought rechargeables so Mom doesn't have to keep buying batteries. We are looking for more track sets to make the track bigger.

The cars set does not have the same trax as the train set - I don't know why they didn't make these compatable.

I got this for my son for Christmas to go along with the other Disney Cars themed Geotrax and he loves them. I want to get this set because it had the curves in them so that we could give his set up a little something different than just going around in a circle. Sally, who comes with this is not remote control but the kids can still push her along the track.

We'd gotten some switching tracks in other packs, but didn't have enough switches to get really creative.

My four year old loves being able to choose which direction the trains go. There was a Curious George episode where a train master arranges trains by manipulating switches.

This pack is great to let my children replicate the same sort of tasks.

We are huge Geotrax fans-have a ton of trains/tracks, etc. Bought this pack to add to our collection-you can never have too much. Love Geotrax!

Happy with purchase - nice to be able to find it after it came off the shelves at Target & WalMart.

I have now eight GEO TRAX sets, they are fully compatible. What I like the most is how resistant they are, my kids (2 and 4 years old) keep sitting and stepping on the tracks, houses, stations and they do resist!!

Great product. Durable enough for 2 yo and 5 yo boys. Locks together easily and can be used with all other Geotrax track sets.

My son (3)recieved this and Lighting McQueen's close call, with the mountian. He loves trains and the Cars movie so it seemed like a perfect fit! He loved it. The geotracks are easy to build with and the RC cars and voices are fun but there were just not enough pieces for him to build muliple courses. The close call mountian has to be put together just like the picture and with just a few pieces to this pack it left a lot of dead ends. He plays with it some but he goes back to his wooden track trains because the can build them so many different ways.
